everything about this video is perfect. the keyboard falling. the way they all stop. the bassist having a splint. the random kid screaming at the beginning. the drummer hesitantly hitting the cymbal after. the adult making the bad joke. the fact they’re playing weezer.
Yeah. For a middle school band this sounds good. The drummer is holding a steady beat. Everyone is in sync and if the keyboard hadn't fallen this would have been an amazing cover considering that they're all like 11
Drummer totally missed an epic ba dum Ching moment Edit: One year later I am now a changed man. I now understand it is indeed “Ba Dum Tss” and most definitely not “Ba Dum Ching”
The young man on lead guitar is a boss! He was the first one to lay down his instrument and get to work on correcting the problem. That’s a leader in action. Well done!
@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 jeez dude, whenever I click on a music-related video, I see a comment from you that’s relatively recent. How do you do it? Lol.
I LOVE when shit like this happens to kids because they have no idea how to react to it and it’s hilarious. An adult would’ve laughed, told a joke or goofed on himself but you can just see it in the kids’ eyes: “404 file not found”
Remember kids. It's not about how good or bad the performance is. It's about the bravery and courage to stand up on that stage to make an effort. I would applaud them for that as well.
Hang in there boys “embarrassment is the price of admission. If you’re not willing to look foolish while learning, you’ll never become a master of your craft.” - some guy
This is CLASSIC AS F#@K. Imagine them when they're 50 years old like " dude remember when Joey hit 2 chords and dropped his whole piano?" 🤣 This a story to tell literally forever
These are the top students in drama class and their assigned task is to interpret the word "Awkward".That's why the audience clapped for such a marvelous performance.
@@joshjams1978 dude enlighten me, what is the correlation? Is it once your hair reaches a certain length by age 12, you gain 30 years of technical expertise with musical equipment?
@@BoverdeseKnuttz nah, it’s a double correlation: one, the fact that only someone with the iron will and steel skin of a stage hand can tolerate the mocking that comes from having long hair in middle school, and two, the fact that once your hair is long enough to do a ponytail, you immediately look eager and trustworthy to the middle-aging music and drama teacher who’s fondly reminiscing his hippie years. Thus, he’ll impart to you his hard-won, forbidden methods to be the most effective stage hand and set designer.
Dude this is crazy..I'm pretty sure I ran into one of your comments on either a The Dubliners or a Paul Brady vid last night? Was feeling very patriotic so can't remember which one!?
Most kids arent paying attention in an assembly. Just clap when you hear everyone else clap. Theyre not teasing because they simply dont give a singular slimy shit
Poor kids. It takes a lot of balls to get up on stage in front of your whole school and do a performance. I don’t think I would have been able to hold back my laughter though!
The drummer hits the ride a couple times to take the edge off the uncomfortable silence and to give us all a taste of what we missed out on. Thanks, drummer man.
As a guy who has taught music to kids before, this is pretty common. Congrats on these boys for taking it like champs though. I've seen some kids have meltdowns.
Damn. The kid who put his guitar down to help pick up that little keyboard before the keyboardist even took that initiative is gonna be a legit work partner. Also that teachers joke at the end was awesome
It’s on an X-shaped stand that collapses flat to travel easily. It has to be latched securely at the center of the X. Appears it wasn’t, and pressure from him starting to play was enough to collapse it. The keyboard is heavier in the back so it falls backwards when it lands.
