Looked very good couple of days. The duck catch shot was quackity. I know you were disappointed with your performance however you did confirm that you should have gone Caster shallow and it would have been a very different outcome. The 2nd day was a great day for the youngsters supported by the sponsored anglers. Well done Middy. Well done Dave.

It's nice to see top anglers giving something back Back in the day the club I was involved with Brookside AC it was suggested tha we run a summer cup for youths in the area so we had 2 groups under 12 and under 16 we ran matches midweek evening and Saturdays with adult members to bank walk and advise they were well attended on the final day there was a BBQ and prizes given out all prizes were donated by local tackle shops every kid went home with something The mayor and local police commander were the despite which a good time was had by all Police stated during the 6 weeks it was running local petty crime vandalism shoplifting and burglaries were down by over 70% so keep up the good work mate

Great video Dave good to see you helping to bring the young lads on. With regards to your own match don’t follow the heard do what you believe in and what your good at!! Awesome video Dave, good to see experienced anglers helping new anglers with tips and knowledgeable advice. As for the match don’t beat yourself up mate, you tried your best on a venue you have never seen or fished before and you can take the knowledge with you when you fish it again. Didn’t have the best of starts hooking that duck, i also think those sun screen flavoured pellets didn’t help either, see how many fish you caught later in the match. As you know I live and fish in New Zealand so even in winter months we have to sun screen up,but we always wash the sun screen off our hands before we touch a bait, no BS mate just trying to help you out.Keep on bagging Dave.
