I do the same. I want my clothes softened without killing the machine. Softeners are responsible for most washing machine breakdowns. By putting it in the detergent compartment, you rinse away all softener by the last rinse.
Thanks for showing, but you put your detergent and the softener in the wrong departements! The one on the left ist for your (main) detergent - middle is for your fabric softener, and on the right it's for prewash.
How do you prevent the main wash detergent from going in during the prewash cycle? Both compartments seem to be free flowing, and ur putting detergent on both at the same time
