Hi Stephen, in observing thinking process and grounding back . I noticed a lot of irritation and aversion , I could notice a tension and strain in my eyes and overall tension in my face. Even while grounding awareness in my hands , though was not absent , I could both hear my thoughts in the form of mental talk and see them in images. I could notice sensate quality of particular thoughts relating to fantasies. But there was a chain of thoughts not connected to each other like questioning, doubting and getting irritated, fantasizing etc. I was a very confused about whether I did it right?

This is the mind in its natural state Rohan. This is the development of insight. Do you have control over your mind or is the questioning, doubting, irritation, fantasizing happen automatically, by itself? The mind is doing what the mind is doing, can you leave it alone and let it be? Notice that all this commenting, all this irritation, all this doubting comes from fear. And relax. Relax the effort, relax the struggle. Soften your relationship towards this content within your mind, give up the fight. Develop your softening skill - MIDL 3 - 5 and then whenever doubting arises, soften, relax. Whenever irritation arises, soften, relax. Just relax. Observe and relax, this is all. None of it is worth your effort.
