looks like a fancy way to do a temp mount. long term is better. just weld on a flat “tab” a small part of 1:4 inch thick 2 in by 2 in flat bar with the apposite sized hole for your antenna to mount to. and cost a lot less. will never come loose. and gives a positive grounding.
I appreciate the feedback, the mount I ended up using was not the best option. It would come loose with the vibrations of the road and I ended up removing it from the truck
These antennas are 100% about looks. A standard antenna will do just as well and cost far less. You could buy a small pile of them for what these things cost and have some left over when you die for your kids to inherit.
