That day, it was great to spend several hours with you Leslie waiting on the Midland Pullman! I could have chatted all day as you speak with such enthusiasm, knowledge and experience. You not only record the here and now with fantastic videos but your extensive writings have preserved the history of the railway around Carlisle for generations to come. Keep up the great work!! Until next time..
another grear video Les some great captures there matey, didn't look as if there were too many punters on the pulman its a long ride from southampton though , thanks for sharing Les superb footage and filming loved it👍👌 . take care a t b syd
So sad that one of the original midland Pullmans ( Oe even a western region one) could not have been preserved. But a preserved HST set, operating on the main line and masquerading as a midland Pullman is a wonderful sight to behold. .
Nice, you got the Midland Pullmans a couple times, and it is very fetching if not iconic. I love it and would add it to my UK collection. Of course, you caught the Royal Mail which is a favorite of mine too, along with all the other goodies! Well played and done, sir!!!
Hi Les I think it would be very interesting if you gained access to the terminals of the aggregate trains and wood trains to let us see them unload at the factories.
Les, it looks like you have cloned yourself to film from two places! The Midland Pullman is in pristine condition and compliments to LSL. Shame other premium express services can’t get close. Love the wagon Tops and build panels to add to the mix.
Another fine selection. A question, with all that squealing, like party time on a pig farm, is flange greasing equipment employed anywhere on the UK network?
Thanks Kev. Tues / Wed / Thurs mate often have to check out RTT as its not reliable now the summer is here. Evenings - 1530 - after 10pm are pretty good
