The venue wasn't the best, but it's immaterial because the show is moving back to its original location at Ragley Hall this year. Ragley is a much nicer venue, while the aircraft park out of sight, everyone gets a great view of the runway and display area, and the crowd are positioned on the edge of a hill so the runway is actually some way below them. Check out this video from 2018. While the general public won't be able to get the startup/static shots in this video, most of the takeoff/landing/flying clips are taken from the regular crowd area. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YVHy1sHzwcU.html
Sadly not. I arrived at the show just as the flying started and it took another few minutes to get set up. I only caught this move and the one before, and not particularly well.
I hadn't planned to but I have nothing else on that weekend. If you want some filming work done there then drop an email to adam.landau@thisisflight.net and we can try and arrange something for Cosford or another event!
Not in 2018 or 2019, but it was a very young event back then. This year's show will be much bigger. I have seen the full flying display schedule, but I'm not allowed to say anything just yet. Watch their Facebook page for updates, you won't be disappointed!
