A metal/rock remix cover of Midna's Lament from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Probably the most well known song from that game.
I've been planning to cover this for years and I finally got to it.

Sorry I haven't been too active recently. I've been having a terrible year so far and I haven't really been feeling up to making anything. But I'm hopefully breaking out of that slump

Fun Fact
- This was my first Zelda game I ever played. I've got a huge soft spot for it

@@narosedraconis2424 When really focusing on the themes (something many gamers usually don't pay too much attention to) the game reveals itself to be Midna's. OoT Link gets a timeline wrap-up, TP Link fulfills his destiny (as we are him), but Midna is the focus. She's the one with a solid arc and develops the most as a character. It's why so many people like her in the first place, she has actual character.

I mean, writing a return would be VERY difficult to execute properly. I'm not opposed to the idea, but I just want it to do her justice. Her character arc is a masterpiece, and we can't have it tarnished by a shoddy sequel; there needs to a damn good reason for her to return to Hyrule.

Seriously, this was a monster of a cover. The pitched up guitar parts in the solo, especially 2:44 were pure bliss. And the main riff throughout is definitely a banger. Hope your year picks up and that you're feeling better. This was awesome!

Yo this is so good! This is honestly one of the best remix/remakes I've ever heard. I don't know if you're taking requests or not but it would be really cool if you did the shinra corporation theme from FF7. I think it would fit really well in a metal/rock style. Btw, have you heard about the Tomoya project for this game? Its amazing and you should really check it out if you love this game.
