It pretty much is, both games essentially use the same coding in vehicles, fishtailing itself was actually an implemented code in Mc2 that was “nerfed” in MC3, hence why cars can still “fishtail” in mc3, except getting a speed boost like it does in Mc2.
Sadly i only have old phone which cannot play ps2 game smoothly, so i play midnight club psp version which there's no controll mapping for changing gear☹️ This is sad I just want to enjoy drifting on my fav game😟
