I'd definitely contact them about the raven dress. Even according to their webpage it's not supposed to be upside down. They should fix it. Hopegully no one else gets one like this it's definitely a mistake. Great haul. They seem to have very nice quality stuff and good customer service. Small businesses usually have some issues esp as they grow. I hope to see some wondrful things from them as they grow.

The clothes are all very cute but I'm very surprised at how little they paid attention to making sure everything was sewn properly and with as much care as possible. I would have definitely sent back that skull dress that had the ravens upside down. That is totally unacceptable to me. I had considered purchasing from them, but with what you have gone through, I'm just not sure I want to risk it. Nice to see you again Sweetie :)

I've ordered from Midnight Hour a few times now and have been very happy but I purchased completely different items. Their prices are quite expensive unless you wait for the item to be on sale or go on clearance. That dress with the pink print I guarantee was originally much more expensive then what you paid for it. It is very disappointing that a small business didn't pay attention to such obvious details like the seams and then the direction of the print on the top part of the other dress. Just seems like they wanted to produce a bunch of items quickly and didn't bother we to double check their work. I'm going to double check the seams on my items now too just to see.

The overlocking stitching is pretty bad 😬. You don't need to come off the fabric diagonally and the ends need to be long enough to thread under the stitches to secure it. It will unravel if you just cut them off! The double stitching is just to prevent the start of the stitching unraveling. The white backing seems to be standard for digital print fabrics, meaning it's not great for garments that need to stretch to fit.

Thanks for this Kirsty. What a shame attention to detail is lacking. Having upside down birds & bats is not the quality I would hope for. I noticed that some of the seams the print didn’t match either. Glad the customer service experience was positive. I was also shocked at how short they are 😱 I’m 5’2 also but I would not feel comfortable wearing them. I would only wear them with leggings underneath.

Such a shame about the short skirts, I'm 5ft10 so I have problems with that quite often 😭 never heard of this shop though, always happy to have somewhere new to check out 😊

Yeah they’re so short!😭 It’s not something I usually have an issue with but I’d definitely have careful of that when wearing these pieces!
