Damn. Where did this come from all the sudden? I'm strickly SRV and Hendrix on this song. Still haven't fully bought into the popular Gary Moore version. I've heard them all. This dude is impressive. Which is his intention: he is completely into Jimi’s music (throwing in a couple of stage tricks) but it’s the development of a new music genre we hear here. I don't think anyone has come so close as this. You understand his technic perfectly well, you never give a string rest, you constanly give it something, no clean bends but subtle accents also. So very impressing! Now, if i may make a suggestion nevertheless, maybe you could extend the longer, sustained notes; in may opininion they are slightly hastily. And further i wonder, lefthanded, or do you think the right hand has something extra to offer?

Great rendition! if I were to make a suggestion, his band mates need to spruce up a little bit so they fit the part - it would add to the professionalism. Tennis shoes, sweet pants and stocking cap don't cut it. They sound amazing, but a little more fashion sense and they might be STARS.

I've loved Hendrix since the first time I heard him on the radio (Purple Haze?). I was 14 then. I couldn't get enough of him. So many made a living off his sound: Robin Trower, Mahogany Rush, SRV, Randy Hansen, etc. But the guy in this video really nails it. Jimi would be proud!

Dislike when an "artist" tries to be someone they are not. Not saying the guy can't play or he isn't doing the cover extremely well its just he tries to dress like Hendrix. Just be yourself and don't copy other people. I dressed like that in the late 60s and early 70s because I was an actual hippie living on a commune. Be yourself and don't copy others.

But I do it in my bedroom or at rehearsal for fun, and many can bla bla wah plexi fender octa fuzz, bog fuzz, uni vib full tone whatever... Do something different, make music be original. You are just an interpretation and not an artist this way. You are talented, your whole band is. But the thing is Hendrix died 50 years ago. Come on do something different. THIS HAS BEEN DONE a long time ago... The man himself did it 50 plus years ago! BE ORIGINAL!
