Thanks for the post - I've known the Midnite shows from 2008 & on into the transition to Akae Beka. Awesome to see the energy you can always hear and feel from the earlier days! Will forever be a daily listener, always learning from The Teacher

Thank you for sharing this VI! The ‘Vaughn with dreads out’ is my favorite era of Midnite. Because the band was so solid. I have so much gratitude that you posted this!
Check check I so missed that DVD I borrowed it to a friend of mine an never seen it again I searched RU-vid since 02 itself to see if that show was up an nothing when I saw the trending pic I knew exactly what that was I stopped everything I was doing and watched the whole show had couple water in de eye lol because that DVD ment much for me as Ras got it from a Ras who got it from a Ras an I wished to return it but who I lent it to was too attached but thanks ..who are you by the way if you don't mind me asking..do you know j.schomo ?
I was there, and there was plenty of crowd noise. It electrified everyone there, no question...the first of many Midnite/Akae Beka shows I got to see. Bless.
jahspreyvision no doubt. You can hear the natural crowd noise as well. But someone has clearly overdubbed some applause sample periodically. If you listen carefully it’s the same every time. No big deal, still very thankful to be able to experience this amazing show!
@@rasisaiah MBRF had 3 stages running that year. Midnite was playing the second stage, off to the side from the main headliner stage. You could hear the music and crowd noise from both stages.
@@jahspreyvision haha! I wasn't trying to argue with you, but once I noticed it was unmistakable. there is the same whistle pattern and it comes in at kind of odd/unnatural times. still, I love seeing Vaughn and the band do their thing! he was really on that night it looks like!
