hi guys im actually so tired rn I feel like every day im running on 4 hrs of sleep and adrenaline but also so many good things has been happening recentlyy-- life is busy but Im happy :-)

as an animation major (focusing on 3D animation) i relate heavy with the lack of sleep cause of projects. the pains of the art majors... GOOD LUCK on all your works and your studies! keep working. p.s. also uv-ing in maya is my worst enemy

You may have just rekindled my heart in game design. It's been something that I have been wanting to do since I was like 12, and now that I am graduating I know that I want to do IT. I love to program but I forgot the absolute nostalgia that comes from making your own games. Thanks genuinely, I might even peruse it as a minor of some sort or just double major it.

This video was so inspiring! i'm a first year Computer Science student in Rome and I'm having a java course rn, the Exam for it will consist of a game development project, I have to make a videogame from zero only using Java and JavaSwing 😭. I had a Python course in the 1st semester and I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting used to Java, but these videos really motivate me! Also, love Lamp, Ishiko Aoba and Laufey music 🤍

hii! I love it! I enjoy art, programming, and stories so game design is something I'm really passionate aboutt :->. I think to become a game designer, you just got to do it! I started off by just cloning a mario game following a tutorial and that's rlly what my process looks like still (watching tutorials and making them my own). I also def do get creative burnout. Part of why I like vlogging/programming is I can still feel productive without getting too deep in the burnout. I also make sure to rest (literally just have a day where I scroll on tiktok or watch a netflix show hahah) or reward myself when I know I've been working hard (even if I don't see the results), so like thrifting/going to a cafe!

Your advice has brought me so much clarity! :) Also, thank you for filming your game design process in university; you're the first youtuber I've come across that's filmed what gaming courses are like in university! I really enjoy the realism you show in your day to day. It's really encouraging, as I'm also a college student! I have one more question, how do you gain or find inspiration? I realize Pinterest may be one source, but did you have any other resources that help with this? Again, thank you so much for your advice and response!! It's been really helpful. :)

Omg sorry!! I just saw this comment - I think I draw my other inspiration from games I enjoy/like to watch people play. There are a few artists on Instagram as well who really inspire me! Generally looking at other forms of media and art really help my creative process :-)

yaa I'm studying game design at my uni! and actually most of our other classes use maya, it's just this class we've been learning in blender (which I also prefer since it's free :-))

Hi!! that's so cool that you made a PC! I honestly am a beginner myself, but a lot of tutorials online are rlly helpful! I recommend maybe starting off with references and then going on to making your own models once you feel more comfortable :-) and thx Mortè!!

Don't see anything that sets sets playerDetected to false and the seperation of playerDetected = true and If playerDetected is currently unnecessary. You also are setting swing to true/false instead of hitPlayer so you won't get any console log saying "swinging".
