Back in June, Midwest held its first N scale, and HO scale operating sessions. I filmed them both, and here is the N scale side of the night, next week I'll have the HO. The layout is under construction, but that didn't stop us. Jon Percy is one of Midwest's managers and the owner of the N scale Buffalo & Pittsburgh. A layout featured many times on this channel, and one with an ops session still to post. But, Jon is the one heading up the N scale session since he's got the most experience with operating. He also had to do a bit of training because not everyone who signed up to operate has experience doing it.
Over all, everyone had a great time, and lead to us doing sessions once a month. In addition, we have run sessions where anyone can bring in their own equipment and just run it on the layouts with no operating. If you are in the Kansas City area and are interested, come in the store and sign up. No cost and is open to everyone of all experience levels. Anyway, that's a wrap for now, and we'll have the HO next week.
