Nice list. I love Octavia Butler’s books and hope you read more of them. One of my favs is Foul Lady Fortune (Chloe Gong). It’s a great mystery in 1930s Shanghai and recommend it. It’s a sequel series to These Violent Delights.
Lol the bloopers. I genuinely didn't realize people didn't use TBRs as a mass list to pull from for mood reading until very recently 😅🤐 I've also been ignoring the stormlight archive for other fantasy books. I'm assuming my adhd hyperfocus power will kick in come November when there is pressure to have the rest of the series done for the new release 😬

You're so lucky you can just pick and choose whatever you want to read in the moment!! I'm on the ADHD spectrum and if I don't have a yearly TBR to go through, I'd spend more time in decision paralysis than actually reading🤦🏻♀️😅
I loved Bunny! was my first Mona book.. I've actually read it twice. Started All's Well but had to soft DNF for other priorities but definitely will get back to it. Rouge is on my TBR too and excited to get it added to my collection.

Stormlight Archive was tough for me at first, then i tried Audible. I do immersion reading. I found it was much easier to do that. Im on book 3. Have book 4 on deck, and I'm excited for book 5 coming out in December.
Loved this video! Words of Radiance was a little slow for me too, but by the end I was fully invested again and loved it! I’m currently reading The Shadow of the Gods and really enjoying it!

My favourite book of this year so far is by Alix E Harrow The Once and Future Witches. I adore this book.
