Love this. Sometimes I love having everything in one journal so there's only one book to look back on but a super chunky journal can be very difficult to write in. Can't wait to see what you've come up with for the rest of the year.

I so enjoy your posts because you're an explorer and you are trying to see what fits you and your life. Agree that each big life change deserves scrutiny and experimentation because you want your future self to be able to appreciate where you've come from and what you learned. So looking forward to your next phase!

I think giving ourselves grace is needed as we move through our planners figuring out what works best. I have gone from three 8x10, to 7x9’s, to rings to discs to a5’s and finally have landed on one b6 and 1 personal rings , and that was just within the last 9 months or so…. It’s been hard flipping through all these seeing all the planners I put together (yes, for the whole year for all of them) only to figure out it wasn’t going to work out. But, with flipping through past planners I’ve remembered what did work and what didn’t and moving forward, it allows me to better my system. Thanks for sharing what works and what doesn’t work. ❤❤

Exactly! It's definitely a balance! For me what's helped to is figure out if I want to move because I was influenced by something on social media vs needing to move because things aren't working :)

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who went through this journey. It took me a long time to settle into a space I feel comfortable and I’m still working out little bits here and there.

A way to be able to fit everything (To-Dos, lists, and memory keeping) into an A6 is by using 2 pages instead of one for your dailies, but that could mean more books per year.

I'll be curious to see what you move into. I'm still in my A6 but I feel the size squeeze sometimes. Maybe B6 sometime for me, but I am working to make it a go for now :)

editing that video now ☺️ a6 is so tiny and portable, but I feel you, it can feel small depending on what you need to do with it

@@KaitlinGrey I just started but a weeks for daily bujo, a B6 notebook for brain dumps/notes, and a Sterling Ink B6 for a record keeper. I always have the hardest time because dailies are too messy to see what I actually got done when I look back on them and I don’t want to see a list of tasks everyday. So I’m trying this.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any places to learn how to memory journal. I’m sorry if that sounds stupid but I think this is why I don’t use my journal like I should. 🤷‍♀️

Hey! I’m sorry I don’t have a place to recommend, I kinda learned through trial and error, although I did find when I started out, using rapid logging in a bullet journal helped me think about breaking down my day into different events chunks/memories was a good way to get into it :)
