Hello modellers,
This video shows you how I built the legendary Cold War fighter, the Mig-21PF, from Eduard 1/72.
I also tell a bit about the history of this aircraft.
In the previous video, I built the resin cockpit from Eduard Brassin.

На МиГ-21ПФ выпускался в 1974 году. Потом 6 лет и 1-й класс на СМТ. Если вираж на форсаже "прощелкал" скорость за 850 км/ч. Выключай форсаж. Разрешенной перегрузки 8,5 ед. не хватит задавить скорость.

Beautiful build! For the tri colour camuflage sceme i tried to find alternatives of MRP (those paints are perfectly spot on but they are expensive) so i visited Szolnok also, took some paint samples with me and i matched colours, the hardest one is the sand brow, it has no perfect mach Gunze C-19 is a bit light but that is the most closest one, C-302 is very close to the green and C-20 is 100% match for the blue.

If you check the original pictures, the aircraft were quite faded and different in colour tones. The paints that you mentioned are pretty close, and after weathering, it will be perfect.

I'm glad you like the channel. The 262 is also planned, but first I want to build a 110 and a special 109 from the German side. Stay tuned, interesting things are coming.

O.K. Time to make myself look stupid but why has this 21 got little green flashes or whatever on both wings? Does it signify something or is there a little bit of equipment behind it? Anyway, the real reason for commenting - beautiful model, really nicely done. I do like the way your panel lines turn out, they just do look real. Thanks for sharing with us and my regards......(P.S. What's next?)

@@cslvisualstudio That's rather nice of you, thanks. Well.......MiG 21, serious piece of Supersonic '60s lunacy, how about doing my favourite British, totally mental and bonkers Jet. The English Electric Lightning, Mach 2+ and mad as a box of frogs... Talking about mad, if you want to complete the "Unholy Trio." you'll be needing the F104 Starfighter as well. You could call your diorama "Light Blue Touch Paper and Retire." 😆(Sorry, instructions on British Fireworks.)
