Ngl, I think thats actually a bug. The ingame camera cant focus in on an ejecting pilot from your plane so it focuses in on any other modern ejected pilot model. Spahgetti code at its finest.
Top tier jet RB is basically a CoD team deathmatch lobby with just one spawn, some players sporting assault rifles with grenade launchers, and some others carrying pistols, hopes and tears.
@@J.G.Wentworththat’s what I thought, but I have joined the bandwagon. I wanna see French reserve suffering on controller (forgot the other details). I did it myself to try it, and holy hell it is an experience.
This thing could have been so good, but Gaijin decided that they should give it the worst flight model imaginable, so its effectively a missile truck now.
@@SovietUnion_ FR. dont get me wrong its still got the best missile loadout in the game, but because of the gimped FM you just keep your speed high and don't dogfight anything which is extremely boring.
As much as I love the sukhoi plane family my favourite Russian fighter will always be the mig29, it was the first fighter jet I ever saw as a small child
Gotta cut AB and be plentiful with flares if you ever want to break a 9M. Regular pop a couple at the right time and laugh at them flare tactics don't work. Pop several, and fly so that the flares are between your plane and the seeker which means turning away from them/the missile. It is very much like trying to break a TY-90, but the 9Ms have way more energy from being air launched.
Don't you just love it when you're in one of the best jets in the game and on average you get like 2/3 kills and die, while on the ground rb you can easily get double that while not traveling to the battle for 5 minutes... No wonder air rb is barely alive.
Speaking personally I'd play air RB more if enemy aircraft didn't have nametags etc - essentially followed the same visual rules as ground RB. It'd give ground pounders a bit more of a window to earn their keep, and the dogpiling would ease off a bit. Hopefully that'd make encounters a bit more 'personal' for lack of a better word, and might make it easier for some folks to learn from a fight instead of learning only 'don't get dogpiled'.
@@PhantomTangeant Would be more interesting for sure, but as a ground main i just can't find air rb that much fun because maps pretty much have no role, you just most of the time try to get as high as possible and go to the cluster to get a few kills and eventually get someone behind you and die so it gets repetitive pretty quickly, planes are much more fun in ground rb where their role is actually more realistic.
@@PhantomTangeantthat + making ground AA never hit unless you're like 200m off the ground and going a maximum of 500kph. If you get that low of an airspeed then it makes senss that and M163 would be able to hit you but going mach 1.15 and getting killed in 1 burst is abysmal.
@@Sveta7 Almost all of my game time is spent in ground RB, and I prefer flying in that mode over air RB for basically the same reason. The majority of my time is spent in tanks either way. Whether you're hammering tanks your teammates are struggling with, hosing down helicopters or clearing enemy out of the sky, the fighting is much more engaging there than in air mode.
Man now im just thinking what if they release the supermanuverability russian aircrafts like su-27 on next update, you know they are supermanuverability so it will be very unballanced in dogfights
Day 59 of asking Malzi to play the German Sd.Kfz 6/2 because it’s a meme at its BR and everyone should discover the enjoyment of dominating low tier with it. It helps with the pain of top tier.
