Saw the car on the MCM Facebook page already before the plans for a showcar were made public, and gotta admit, u guys did an amazing job overhauling the car! Cant wait to see some more episodes on this car!

the reason why i love some Australian tunning some cheap cars is that, it makes me feel normal, in a sense that despite not have a super car or a performance car, i can still makes rounds in cheap fast cars, Thanks guys and good luck. you are doing a good job

@smellybumlove They are 17s and while some people have said they were too big, we'll tell you exactly why we used them in the video out in a few weeks

Very good choice. Not famous car, but definately something new and thats the point. They should build something which were built many times, but this is 100% unique! Great work.

@boeing180 Daihatsu call their 900cc engine a EJ-DE (NOT an EJ20/25) the turbo is a ball bearing primary turbo off a twin turbo legacy (left overs from Marty's old car!)

I fucking love Kei Cars! Its not the style I would generally do on a Kei car but serious props for making this. My only beef at all with it, is the huge ass wheels.

Great job MCM! A million thumbs up. Red calipers, front mounted intercooler, boost gauge, GFB BOV. Everything you taught us in the previous episodes are all in this car. Does that mean the stuff I see on your Coure that hasn't been taught how to install will be in future episodes? Recaro seat, digital tacho and etc.. Once again, thumbs up! Keep it up! PS: I live in Hong Kong, I see plenty of Daihatsu modded but none looks neat. I'm sure they must have spent more than you guys did.

You guys are awesome! Never thought I would like a Daihatsu but you guys built one of the coolest cars I've seen. I bet it is a huge sleeper as well to take on all the sex spec vls and rx3s.

I'm not the biggest fan of that mini/box body style, but great job regardless, you guys made it look great

This is awesome. I am sick of cars being abused turned into POS. All of those can bee seen in autosalon. But this is different, a true tuner/sleeper with both elegance & power packed into one graceful package. WELL DONE MCM you have got my respect!

It actually took me a while to figure out what it was. From behind it resembles the newer mini cooper but the front reminds me more of a nissan march lol. Altogether, it's a sweet car i wouldn't mind driving around =) Now if only i can get sponsors for my car =P

@watuzi if u read the specs they show, its not actually black but a custom green color. The dim light makes it look dark and sinister.

@Hozymes Because it is inside the engine bay...plus any water that get's inside the engine bay won't suck in water because cone filter are sprayed with oil. And oil separate water.

This will be a great example of true modding.

@92mmm The point was just that a show car is supposed to stand out from all the rest. If I had less than $5k to spend, and really wanted to show off my creativity and ablilitys to build something that was different, I'd START with something different, rather than just add to the countless customised 20v mid 90's corollas, datsun/SR20 swaps, and supercharged commo's etc that you usually see.
