Joe Ligon used to live in Beaumont, Texas a few houses down from friends of ours. I used to always see him outside washing his car, etc;. Back then I didn't even know who he was. I knew the Mighty Clouds of Joy but never the members. When I got older I ran into him at a small church where he was producing a small female group. It blew my mind when I saw him, I was like, "I used to see this guy almost everyday when I was kid and never knew I was in the presence of a legend!!!
Their music and talents truly do enrich the heart and soul.....I would've loved for this performance to last longer than the 3 min. and 57 sec .....because it is totally outstanding .
