I mean...actor Aaron Lohr was probably still 17 during D2's production and having actual teenagers play teenagers isn't as common as opposed to early-to-mid actors in their 20s.
to think they would make the whole team of ducks be on the Olympic team is pretty far fetched if you actually want to win...usually you take the best players available for that kind of competition...or else you have no chance
@@TheJtnix16 Well Connie the girl who guy has a crush for and that they are probably together said that Luis is a good looking skater and Averman provoked guy with that a little which is why guy said to him to shut up for it(also because he might be right there a little jealous).
1:50 This actor, Aaron Lohr, married Idina Menzel in September of 2017. In other words, *the singing voice of Max Goof married Queen Elsa of Arendelle.*
When Bombay says “We have a goalie” I would have said “Yeah a goalie who can’t stop a puck to save his life” I felt sorry for Julie for being benched in the movie and how at the last minute she gets to play which is why in part three I’m glad that she got to be the main goalie.
Andrew Toone Well, duh. Minnesota is where the team was from. Hence, the players are from there too. The new players weren’t from Minnesota. They were from Miami, Chicago, Bangor, Los Angeles, Texas. Did I miss any?
there are so many plot holes and alot of shit doesnt make sense that is why this is the greatest movie ever... "from all around the united states..." but a shit ton of them are from the same place in Minnesota
I have this movie on VHS. Since it's been ages since I've had a VHS player, I haven't seen it--though I'm not surprised I still remember this scene word for word. I was OBSESSED!!! Best movie ever!!!
So let's go over the new players strengths and weaknesses: - Luis - Fast skater but can't stop - Dwayne - Good puck handler but he's dumb and a showoff - Ken - Great figure skater but not much hockey experience - Dean - Strong enforcer but he's a goon - Julie - One of the best goalies in the country but she's a girl (I mean you don't want to make her the starter, she might get her cooties in the net)
Apparently, both Kenan Thompson and Brandon Adams (who played Jesse) didn’t get along with each other while they were filming. Which is the main reason why Kenan Thompson returned for D3, while Brandon Adams refused.
Andrew Toone Apparently, Thompson and Adams don't get along to this very day. To me, it's good to know, but I just enjoyed the movies regardless of who's in it gets along or not.
The kid who played Jesse Hall in the first two movies also played Kenny Denunez in The Sandlot. It’s nice to see both him and Mike Vitar acting in another kids sports comedy together. Seeing how they became really great friends while filming The Sandlot.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the only useful thing Dwayne's skills provided in this movie was flinging it into the air for Banks' goal? The guy has more moves than anyone and he was the only one who couldn't score in the shootout XD
He's more of a dangler than a scorer. A dangler is a player who can just dangle the opposition. A dangle is much like a deke but more than just a head fake, the player must embarrass the opposing player by moving the puck in and around the opposing player with his stick-almost "dangling" the puck in front of him.
Brad Morgan Well after his little league baseball career, Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez then decided to get a name change and move to Miami where he learned how to play hockey. He then gave that up, switched back to his original name, picked up the game of baseball and then played for the Dodgers. :)
In case you forgot, he also stopped in the championship game against Iceland and scored one of the most crucial historic goals in Team USA history. EVENTUALLY CAUSING THE SHOOTOUT AND TEAM USA TO WIN THE JR OLYMPICS AGAINST QUALITY SQUADS LIKE JAMAICA AND ICELAND!!
I had a crush on them both, but in saying that, I thought the girl who played Connie was a "One Hit Wonder" and a "Flash in the pan" of the acting industry, but then again I was distracted by football straight after mighty ducks ended so I didn't pay attention afterwards, she did grow up to be hot though and semi succesfull
The first movie came in 1992, I was 9 then, Connie was the first love of my life (she made my little 9-yearold heart go faster and faster) I saw "Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later" last year and i still think that Marguerite Moreau is beautiful.
It’s not just about Maine fallen. It’s a testament to the whole country. 18 people died in a bowling alley last month. In MAINE!! I blame social media and the internet
If that dude couldn't stop that's ok. I just wouldn't put him on TEAM USA hockey. How many people that could stop would have made it over him. SO MUCH TALENT SQUANDERED WITH THAT HUGE TALENT POOL FROM MIAMI!!
I rocked all the goalie equipment Julie used for when I was playing. Cooper gear and a Heaton and Koho goalie sticks and bauer goalie skates. 90’s goalie equipment was the shit.
Portman's in a relationship with Idina Menzel. I know he's like 41 now but I honestly can't help but see him as a teenager and Idina is an adult woman.
The most stereotypical characters ever! I’m surprised Disney didn’t add a Mexican guy wearing a sombrero, or an Asian woman saying “me so horny” to the team
As a kid a I thought the full face visor was so cool. Now that I actually play hockey I wish I could use the full visor but it fogs up way too much. Still scary to block a shot without a full cage but I guess I’ll just have to stick with my half visor
I think the saddest fucking thing about this is that Kenny Wu had more a future financially playing hockey than continuing figure skating, which is MUCH more difficult.
