I have both of these Dragozords, and a few others. So far not a single one is anywhere near screen accurate. In fact no one has made a screen accurate version, yet! Super7 Ultimates has elements all others have missed BUT, it's flawed too.
Simple design of super 7 and articulation & materials/ Die cast to make it feel & look premium . Super 7 ultimates Dragonzord is the closest looking Zord to the original in my opinion as well . That’s how I would make my ultimate Dragonzord with those elements
Diecast ≠ better. The issue with the placement of metal throughout the toy makes it too ‘top-heavy’. Bandai’s Legacy Dragonzord had this issue when combining. Having more articulation is a blessing and curse; the additional poseability makes for a better display piece, but the weight of the metal makes it unstable for certain poses. This wouldn’t be an issue with the original 90s molds; you can add as much metal as you want, and there won’t be any stability issues.
I totally agree me personally I like displaying them separately but just wish it wasn’t so heavy. They should’ve made it that if you’re having diecast through the whole figure that it will be able to stand with no problem maybe less would have been better. The SOC FIGURES LOOK BEAUTIFUL THOUGH 😊
