I like that no one is afraid of Drakkon anymore by this point. We've now seen threats way bigger than him.

How so ? He literally became a god and destroyed the multiverse. He was endgame boss material. I hate how they are making him a punching bag. This is one of my pet peeves with comics and why I prefer manga.

@@BigJohn303 That’s because he lost his 2 biggest advantages: 1) Resources. Drakkon was able to do half of the things he did because he had a surplus of Ranger powered soldiers and other resources to throw at his enemies. He has almost none of that now. 2) Type-Match up. The other major factor of what made Drakkon so dangerous was intimate knowledge of how the Grid worked, and how the Power Rangers operated both as an organization and as individuals. He had specialized weapons to negate their powers. The shoe is on the other foot now, as Dark Spector is basically an Anti-Grid entity that corrupts Ranger Powers (like Drakkon’s) at their source through the Grid, and now he now has the number advantage, which is exacerbated by guys like the Death Ranger.

For that scene where Dark Spector was trying to corrupt Tommy, I fantasized that the Zeo Crystal somehow came to him. It would purge all evil out of him and combine with the White Light to create a White Zeo Ranger. That would be cool. Imagine how powerful that ranger would be. What would the visor be like? The Zeo Rangers' visors were geometric shapes to represent their numbers/ranks. But if this ranger had the White Light, I'm sure he would still have the Tigerzord. Someone come up with fan art of that, please.

Because the White Ranger powers were never meant to be used for evil because it's called the 'white light'. Dark Spector wanted to test that. As rules were meant to be broken.

Well you got to remember Drakkon doesn't have his Multiverse breaking powers anymore. He is no stronger then your average ranger now just with more skill.

Yeah Ash I think you meant to say RPM not Operation Overdrive. I predict Jason gets brought back to help, maybe they will borrow the whole Secondary Connections to Grid idea from Once and Always so Jason can help lead the team into battle with Tommy captured, and Rocky & Adam under Dark Specters control. It’s hard for me to believe they will just leave Jason out of the biggest storyline Boom Studios has done with Power Rangers thus far.

A little disappointed that Rocky and Adam are being sidelined, as usual, to be thralls. I hope that gets reconciled quickly. As much as I'm loving Darkest Hour, this event really needs two issues a month like the previous events during the Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers runs. There are just too many characters! Super curious to see where Kimberly ends up at the end of this story. I feel she's getting close to retirement.

Adam and Rocky showing up as evil rangers was a suprise for sure. So every single ranger they caught in that prison is now part of Dark Specters army...which is fucking scary 😳 So I dont know HOW they want to recapture savehaven. I guess it will be more like a sneak mission to get to the Arc and reach the Emisaries unless the Phantom Ranger is a crazy power house

Yeah Mistress Vile would be scared about disappointing Dark Specter. After all he did give her her new powers he could just as easily take them away and the rest of her power too or worse.

Dark Spectre: "I don't think I.." [Tommy shoots Dark Spectre with Saba, causing him to be blown through the wall] Tommy: "So that's what it does." But on a serious note though dark Specter should know that the White Ranger powers cannot be corrupted by his evil, even when he says it himself that he wants a corrupted version of the White Ranger Powers maybe you should try the Dino Thunder white ranger.

@@Deoxy360 You did indeed get them confused. @jedyoung767 is a slightly incorrect on there not being an Operation Overdrive Green Ranger however. There was that Bandai toy exclusive Operation Overdrive Green Ranger that was a partial repaint of Operation Overdrive Red wearing the Defender Vest.
