@@michaelpegram3683 Buckethead is a god but he did NOT write the main theme of Power Rangers. The only thing he contributed was a few of the movie tracks like FireBird.
The 90s was a magical time. Stuff like biker mice from mars: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UdSDuJu04xU.html and Iron man: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y63i2NR9-LE.html Power rangers, and i'm sure many others, set the tone for what was cool back then, and probably made a good amount of metalheads out of the kids who grew up at that time.
Metal Rock Rangers (Aiiyaaah!!) Heavy Metal Rock Ranger Power Metal Rock Ranger Death Metal Rock Ranger Speed Metal Rock Ranger Symphonic Metal Rock Ranger
Also mad skills at 0.29 for one handing that shredding in the intro, not two hand tapping like other videos! Freaking love your work, glad I found them again after 5 years haha
Spazzing around like a sugar-buzzed 8-year-old... is that how a grandma would describe twerking? My own personal jokes aside, this is a seriously underrated comment right here lmao.
I love that they just kept looping his take with the kick. They said "that's not just the take, that's the ONLY TAKE. Wrapped. Done. We'll take it from here."
@@thantrus You may be right. I've had some close calls. I was sheltered enough to be smart enough but free enough to explore most of what I wanted. That included exploring gravity. They told me I would hurt myself and breaks my legs. I always denied it verbally, though not too rudely or I'd regret it. But then in the back of my mind, I knew they were right. And never really fully dismissed their warnings. I just kept remembering the warnings as a went along and somehow came out unscathed. I'm only 25 though... Still lots of time to break something. I still skate once in awhile. The fact I never learned more than an Ollie probably helps my chances, but I do love to cruise down hills on my "longboard". More like "shortboard". It looks like a classic deck but with longboard wheels. (There's no smooth spots in my town at all really. You NEED longboard wheels if you want to use it as transportation. The guys who all do tricks usually skate a longboard carrying a classic board along for when they hit their spots. Very sorry for the paragraph. I'm tired, a few hours off work now and stoned off my rocker lol
331Erock gotta do Radar Love by Golden Earring. Amazingly tasty leads in there. Would be a great song to possibly hook up with vox and a drummer too. Jams got flava for miles.
hope to see you do more colabs whit this 2 awesome guys, i whod recomand calab hyles even thoue he don't have an as metal voice as jon and ant have. but all in all, awesome work man!
Eric, were you Zordon or Alpha in that gig? Either way that was magnificent. Every time I listen to your covers I have an eargasm. Anthony and Jonathan were awesome (that white ranger suit
A legend on par with Zordon himself, a true hero who helped us learn right from wrong and to always fight till you fall. RIP, thanks for everything you taught us.
I came back here to pay tribute to the late Jason David Frank. He created a whole generation of greatness and carried a legacy through many decades. Rest in peace Tommy!
Indeed. Green/White ranger was always my favorite because he was more of a samurai than the rest of the rangers. More honor and dedication than the rest of them. Those ideals are a large part of why I enlisted in the Navy in highschool and went to basic training in 1999. That's why Tommy is my favorite.
With all the respect for the death of Jason David Frank I want to leave a Word for Thuy Trang, the first Yellow Ranger, died in a car crash very young. Both of them may Rest in Power.
I came back to listen to this masterpiece to honor Jason David Frank. May you rest in peace and the power protect you always good sir. Thank you for having a huge impact on my childhood and being kind to me when I got to meet you in person.
Christ this would have been the most epic battle song in any movie ever. Really hope movies start realising that metal scores are severely stronger and more epic than hip hop and chart music. Like, cmon, they could have gone for Versus Music, Two Steps From Hell, or metal like this... but they used Kanye.
The Power Rangers movie would've definitely benefitted from some epic metal, specifically more of this song. But more metal like the original show would've been good too.
Fun fact: in greece in the 90s there was an official ban on a power rangers toy watch. Because when you opened it "its morphing time" was written on it. "Obviously a call to drugs for the young generation. Its morphine time" well accomplished english teachers used to say. Fuck my country to death
Dude. You are sick. Been strolling through your covers. Well done! My son, who is six, loves this song and requests it often. Thank you for helping introduce him to metal with a kid-friendly song we both enjoy.
This has more meaning now that JDF passed. Rest in power, thank you for making my childhood awesome and giving me someone to look up to thru most of my life.
Go Go Power Rangers! (Leg Kick) Go Go Power Rangers! (Leg Kick!) (Leg Kick!) (High Punch!) (Low Punch!) Finish Him! (Execute Flying Knuckle Double Leg Kick!) Go Go Power Rangers!
They know, the fate of the world is lying in their hands! They know, to only use their weapons for defense! No one can ever take them down! The power lies on their si-ei-ei-ei-ide! I wish these lyrics were still in, because this is one of the best covers I've heard in a while 😣 You guys are excellent regardless! This will be on my playlist.
This would have been Tommy’s cut of the song. The world is a darker place without him in it and Jason David Frank has forever cemented his place in culture both American and Worldwide. May the Power protect you always when any of the darkest forces try to bring you down, always remember the powers will be with you.
Ulquiorra Schiffler I like how he's just smiling and playing conservatively all song, then the big solo hits and his smiling expression is the same "yeah I'ma solo now guys thanks"
Meets Metal ideas: Bring Me To Life The Sound of Silence Mega Man X Linus & Lucy (Peanuts) How to Train Your Dragon Super Smash Bros. Fall Out Boy Pika Girl by S3RL Ievan Polkka (Leek Spin) Skillet Rey’s Theme Flight by Tristam (Monstercat) Justice League Unlimited Cyanide & Happiness The Devil Went Down to Georgia
This is the kind of rendition of the theme the new movie desperately needed. I mean it was cool to hear some of the 1995 movie theme thrown in at one point but, come on... they needed to go full Power Metal like this.
Ancient history tells us a druid was a member of the high-ranking class in ancient Celtic cultures. Druids were religious leaders as well as legal authorities, adjudicators, lorekeepers, medical professionals and political advisors. Druids left no written accounts. While they were reported to have been literate, they are believed to have been prevented by doctrine from recording their knowledge in written form. Their beliefs and practices are attested in some detail by their contemporaries from other cultures, such as the Romans and the Greeks. The druid is also a playable character class in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. Druids wield nature-themed magic. Unlike clerics, druids do not have special powers against undead and, in some editions, cannot use metal armor. Druids have a unique ability that allows them to change into various animal forms, and various other qualities that assist them in natural settings.
In my Curse of Strahd campaign DnD group our Warlock turned out Dwarf Paladin into a freaking Mastodon-type creature to fight a witch's animated house. It basically became a Make My Monster Grow moment.
