I've been listening to Migos for almost a decade, there was a time I didn't really listen to some of their new stuff because rap started to let me down with the loss of many rappers the last few years. I didn't want the time for me to get back into Migos was when Takeoff died... I really want gun violence to stop. We lose too many people.
I don't know how many other people like the male vocalizations at 00:46. I don't know if this is done by one of the Migos or a backup singer. Also, the female vocalizations that go along. This is one of my favorite parts of the song, even more than the lyrics.
I remember my friends and I would joke around that the most talented of the 3 is takeoff, which is ironically the quiet one that stays out of the media. RIP Take, never forgotten 🕊
