ms believer ive taught myself the piano. it’s hard, you’ll get frustrated, but like anything else, the more work you put in the better you’ll get. when i first started i had a lot of trouble doing simple things but now i can play full songs. if you’re passionate about it, do it. it’s worth it. you’ll only get better
i taught myself how to read sheet music through choir. thats also how i learned the notes on the keyboard. now i use youtube to watch piano tutorials and practice them. you can pretty much use youtube to learn everything though
I've been playing piano for almost 13 years now, I started by just taking lessons, but then I got sick of that so I started learning on my own, either by ear or with RU-vid tutorials once I knew all the fundamentals from taking lessons. Just practice and you can get good at anything:)
