It's become a common sight on the subways, to get approached by someone selling candy. Many of them are actually migrant mothers who carry their babies on their backs. FOX 5 NY’s Jessica Formoso shows us these young women feel they have no other option, but to make a living this way.

I live in Indianapolis Indiana we have a lady and a man a whole family. This is on the corner selling fruit $10 a cup. And they have a car. These people are coming to America and getting over like a fat rat. We used to have to have a permit. Our government is paying them do whatever they want to do. And I do not have to pay taxes. I live in the Midwest and they're on every street corner here selling everything from fruit. The things they got off of Amazon. Some of them even have storefront. Many citizens also have no one to watch their kids while they work, and they cannot afford daycare. But if they decided to just sell candy on the subway with their kids strapped to their back (likely drugged as those kids are way too calm and sleepy, many of them are 3-4yo, and yet they sleep all day) those kids would be placed in foster care and the parents ticketed for the sales and charged with child abuse/neglect.
