The Tories were going to train these men up to work in care homes..... I can't think of anything more dangerous to our most vulnerable in society. Where are these undocumented men going to get job references from ?

@@catch22again I agree. A lot of them would hate and resent us, too. The contempt towards our vulnerable by today's political class is sickening. BTW tony blair said recently that the elderly and vulnerable are "unsustainable" - its obvious what he meant by that. These are animals.

Hun currently they are arriving at around 1000 a day, 500 - 800 is also not un-usual - thats a lot of homeless people sleeping the streets, that will not be the new illegal arrivals, seemingly protected by international law.

@@chrisround941 It is really sad, I'm a seaside person, love the coastal paths - looking out to sea. See the stories of the wrecks and the lives saved, then I think what the RNLI is doing on the South Coast. THEY SHOULD STEP DOWN, it's not their responsibility - it should be done by the Navy if at all. Great sadness to the selfless endeavours of men who serve the RNLI and have given their lives. You can bet your life, the UK Gov is funding this aspect of the RNLI - these are not IMHO volunteers these must be paid professional crews, working shifts.

@@andrearoyd2942 We as a family and I particularly have always donated to them believing really in honesty that they were the fourth emergency service, and incredibly dangerous rescues have taken place, and this does not denigrate the amazing people who like the fire service risk their lives every time that a shout is called. By this I mean that they were on a dangerous mission to rescue someone each time you got to see them, just like a fire engine, where as the ambulance and police you see all of the time in a variety of situations, sadly my respect for the police as a force has seriously diminished, but that’s another issue. Sadly I will no longer donate because of what they’re made to do, so I agree the government will be paying them, and long may they continue to do so because I am not alone in my thoughts and decisions. In theory it’s summer time, the schools in the area where I live finished for the long holiday yesterday, now I’ve spent large parts and had the most wonderful holidays all of my life in Devon. Experience has taught me how manic it will be in that beautiful county that I love so much, and at some point I worry that an English person will not be rescued because the RNLI boats will be playing taxi service for more thousands of unwanted french illegals, muggers, rapists and murderers . I take your point that the military should be involved, not in rescuing the french illegals, but preventing attempts to invade our waters and shores, and returning each and everyone who tries back to france, no if or buts, they are illegal and should not be allowed to make the attempt.
