I've started using bricscad recently and I'm really considering dropping autocad completely because Bricscad is really good so far. A key benefit that very few mention is that it also supports Mac fully, unlike autocad which only has a laggy, stripped down, version on Mac that doesn't even have a customisable interface.
Thank you for this content. I've been using AutoCAD for 8 years now and migrating to BricsCAD seems interesting. I'll download a trial version and test for myself. @Sabeer, can you please make videos for 3D modeling and rendering with BricsCAD ? Thank you ❤️
Thanks Sabeer, so tell me, have you switched entirely to BricsCAD? After 40 yrs of using AC (since it's inception) Hummm, it's certainly tempting for sure.
BricsCAD is an ideal replacement for AutoCAD. It is A I powered, Cost effective, All in one (2D, 3D, Civil design, BIM, and Mechanical) and has flexible licensing options.
Dear Sabeer, Seek your advice. I am a single user of cad architecture software. I want to buy a lifetime license of any good software, which is affordable. Don't want subscription model. Please suggest options to buy. Thanks
I have used both in the past however, BricsCAD gives you so much more than AutoCAD! I am though now biased :) Try it for yourself for free: www.bricsys.com/en-gb/
Not going to pay +2.000$ a year for Revit if you can have Bricscad Shape (all in dwg) for FREE or BricCad BIM for 1.800$ where you can use 1 license on 2 pc at the same time as for several YEARS 🤦♂️ please stop giving advices like that if you don't know anything about the topic... I'd rather use open source programs like Blender3D before using any Autodesk Program
I use Chief Architect Premier for that, like Sketchup on Steroids 2 fold. Not a BIM program but excellent for Residential projects. IMO, there is nothing like AC for straight up 2D Cad. Revit I despise, AutoCAD Construction is okay. But BrisCAD seems to take the best of all and melds them together. What more can we ask for.
