Haven't seen action like that since I lived in North Dakota. That's been over 30 years ago. My brother and I were dressed in white laying in the spread, and we had them landing right next to us. It was definitely a great bonding day for us. Great video per usual Cole!!!
I have a good friend who has been in NoDak since the 1970s. He doesn't even hunt waterfowl anymore, because habitat loss there has wrecked the bird numbers. I'd say "decimated," but that literally means one of every ten is gone. From his reports, it's a lot worse than decimation.
That’s was an awesome hunt!! Hope to get back out there with you one day!!! You guided for me and my brother back in 2018 I believe in panhandle TX. Keep smoking them 💪
Be cool to see you have competition shooting. 1 guy shoots at a time. keep score of triples doubles and singles. say 5 bucks a shell will keep it intence.
Bagging wild animals reminds me of the awesome scene in "Planet of the Apes" (1968), when the apes are hunting humans, "unaliving" them, hanging them up for photos. Mankind is the only predator on Earth that destroys animals for fun and sport. And, mankind intentionally tries to take the strongest, largest, healthiest of a species (trophies) which destroys the gene pool; unlike nature that takes the weakest, lamest, sickest; thereby strengthening the gene pool. Just another reason that, when mankind is extinct, the universe will rejoice.
