When you are in the same season as you coalition ally and you want to migrate to that server, you can transfer the resources to someone you trust, and then migrate to that server. Then he can transfer those resources back. It's a trick i did mutliple times in RoK at the end of a kvk.

Very dissapointed with this addition to call of dragons. This migration system is way to expensive, and the game keeps forcing us to purchase bundles in order to stay relevant. F2P players must have rage quit the game by now.

I'm F2p and I have 2m+ alliance points, just finishing S1. I have more than enough to migrate more than 4 times if I wanted to since my power is not even 10m yet. It is not expensive at all, just manage your rss correctly and you will be fine. Also, it is not like you will migrate every month. If you are a veteran FTP then you probably should have even more alliance points saved. The 1 permit per week I agree makes no sense, but the rest seems manageable.
