Sultan Suleiman gets poisoned...
When Hürrem learns about it, life turns into a nightmare for her. No one knows who has made an attempt on Suleiman's life. That's why Hürrem accuses İbrahim Pasha and Prince Mustafa. A note arrives to Manisa Palace. Sultana Mahidevran gets terrified when she reads what's written on the note. The war between Hürrem and İbrahim gets even bigger. Hürrem sets a trap for İbrahim.
As soon as Hürrem learns that Prince Mehmet will serve in sanjak, she directly goes to Suleiman. However, Hürrem finds Suleiman lying on the floor unconscious as she enters the privy chamber. She provides the doctor's intervention right away. Everyone gets terrified as it's learned that Suleiman has got poisoned.
Hürrem prays for Suleiman to get better. On the other hand, she has to protect her children. She thinks İbrahim and Mustafa have a finger in this. İbrahim gets seriously implicated and he has the bit in his teeth to enlighten this incident.
On the other hand, Manisa Palace gets agitated because of a note received. Mahidevran realizes that there is a spy in the palace. Mustafa's life is in danger. Yahya of Taşlıca starts to investigate it right away. The mysterious spy makes everyone lose their sleep in the palace.
As İbrahim investigates who has poisoned Suleiman, he finds out that Firuze is helped to get to Persian lands. Meanwhile, Hürrem has only one goal, which is to get rid of her nemesis. She sets up a trap that İbrahim rocked.

Let me guess, they blame Nurbahar for the pregnancy too. They never blame the males, always the females. I remember after Mustafa's death, Fatma was silencing those who blamed Suleiman for Mustafa's death yet she was blaming Hurrem. Double standards.

There is a double standard of course, but it's part of the good writing since it's a show taking place in the 16th century. But also remember that to speak against the Sultan was considered treason so it was easier to blame Hürrem.

@@Aliaakaramm no that was definitely Mahidevran since she even said “it’s time for mehmet to die” in the show. But in real history he died naturally from that disease. Suleiman wasn’t for blame. Educate yourself please.

I can't imagine the pain. That's so horitfic. In one of the episodes where they prepare to abort Efsun hatun's (Mustafa's concubine) pregnancy, I saw equipments they used for abortion back then. It was like they were preparing a criminal to be hanged, drawn and quartered.

She did a right thing to protect her brother and mother. Mehmed’s déstockons to keep the pregnancy is sweet, but how would he ever ensure it? If that was found by wrong people the girl would be dead as well, there were no happy ending for that possible child. He really should have though beforehand - and it’s only his fault here, not Mihrimah’s

That notion didn't exist back then in that culture, and it cannot be applied. For a Muslim woman in that time, being pregnant, unmarried, and not even an official concubine of the prince, it meant a literal death sentence for her. They literally just saved her life.

Todaywomen are constitutionally free and many of them are also forced to abort children and some of them, as well as politicians, call for freedom to abort. Any family, any dinasty, any nation who kills their children, eventually end ruined. It's a self death sentence.

The next valide sultan! Valide mihrimah sultan :) her strong character made her case unique as the first and only sister of a sultan with the title of valide sultan.

But there have been three unique cases here: 1.hurrem sultan died earlier, mihrimah helped with money Selim to ascend on throne so Selim gave her, his sister, the valide Sultan title. 2. Kosem sultan kept the title of valide sultan as grandmother (great valide sultan) and regent when her grandson, mehmed ascended the throne, while his mother Turhan sultan was ignored without titles and power. 3. Sultan Abdul Hamid gave the title of valide sultan to his stepmother, rahime perestu sultan because his biological mother died early and he loved his stepmom. These three cases are unique. For our case here, this marks mihrimah as the strongest FULL BLOOD imperial royal sultana of ottoman history, being the first and last sister of a sultan to be called valide sultan and have all responsibilities and duties to act as one.

True in context of 21st century mindset and environment. While watching period based drama we need to think according to that period. Specifically in royalty if action is not taken swiftly your entire bloodline be in jeopardy...thats why they dont even hesitate killing their own child or parents...we cant even imagine the pressure they are in.....that was different world

don't know if this really happened with shehzade mehmet but there are similar incidents like that in ottoman history.e.g, Nurbano sultan forced a girl into abortion in which she died when his grandson impregnated her because she was part of his father's harem.

They usually call it "Ottoman Islam". Many people don't understand that Islam has changed through the centuries as different scholars and judges have interpreted Islam in their own way. Suleiman , and other Ottoman rulers, also added to and integrated Islam into their rulings in new ways.

She had to do it. Mehmed was not allowed to leave a concubine pregnant in suleimans harem. She did it to protect him, the punishment is heavy for a prince if the sultan found out. This shows how strong and powerful personality she has, her attitude confirms that she could be valide sultan, which happened when Selim gave her the title. She was the most powerful imperial princess and unique case, the first and last sister of a sultan to become valide sultan in ottoman history.

So, briefly here, the reality is that sehzades left to rule a sanjak around their pre-teen years (14 or so) where they would have their own harem and children. However, partly for the rule of drama and otherwise to keep from splitting actors and storylines, the show made it so that sehzades were allowed to sleep with women beforehand just with the impossible to follow rule that they couldn't get pregnant.

Nope. She has to do it- for Mehmet, her brother. In those times, a Concubine shouldn't be pregnant from another prince. (Nurbahar is part of Suleiman's harem.) That's why they have to keep it a secret, otherwise something bad will happen to the Concubine, or the Prince. And the burden would be so heavy and painful. So her action could be justified. That's why Mihrihmah forced her to have an abortion. But still, the baby was innocent. So its kind of sad to have it aborted right away. But the Concubine and the Prince would get in a lot of trouble, if the Sultan ever finds out. And besides, it was the law. A Prince should never impregnate a Concubine from his Father's harem. Because it's not his. Also, you shouldn't say that Hürrem's fans are killers already. You always use disgusting nicknames for them. Your hatred is literally questionable. Your the killer here lmfao. Also, this is Mihrihmah. Not Hürrem. Use your damn brain
