I can't believe this card is only $3 for the etch foil version. This boy + Panharmicon + Astral Dragon and you can go nuts. This commander is crazy good.
Thanks for the deck tech! Using at as some feedback for the Miirym deck I just ordered! One big missed opportunity I've noticed you left out is Reflections of Littjara, and both Sakashima's. With Reflections as a turn 4 play, you cast Miirym, reflections copies Miirym. The copy ETB's first, see's the original ETB, makes a non-legendary copy of it, then the legend rule takes place, you sac the token. Blink outlets enable the shenanigans to continue, and Panharmonicon absolutely breaks it with multiple copies of Miirym on the board. Sakashima(s) enable you to double up on creatures like Terror of the Peaks, which means you could have as many as five copies of it on the board without consequence.
A good OP card that is relatively cheap.. is Lurking Predator enchantment. Played against someone with this enchantment in play and just put down every dragon they had .. anytime someone casted a spell.. and when you have your commander out.. its GG.
I have a Lurking predator enchantment but even more OP is monster manual from CLB give it a try 2 mana and tap to summon any creature from your hand onto the field
By the way. You might end up inspiring me to try out one video or another myself. I dont tire repeating myself: you are my favorite mtg content creator and i so much enjoy your paper deck tech approach!

Miirym is by far and away my best EDH atm, and you opened my eyes to a super sick combo with a dragon you're using. Hellkite Charger + Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient=Infinite combat phases/infinite mana if you can't kill by combat for some reason. Now I need a Hellkite Charger... :D Great deck though btw. I like the subtle differences between each Miirym deck! (i.e. rn, I'm running a lot of treasure based mana ramp (looking at you Dockside) and cloning Miirym for more dragon shenanigans.)
a really fun card i like even tho its gotten a little pricey is savage beating and another thats gotten way more expensive is Aggravated Assault its the hellkite charger ability on an enchantment but for 2 less on ability and it obviously doesn't need to attack since its an enchantment
FYI Klauth mana can only be used on spells not abilities like hellkite charger or aggravated assault. Ancient Copper(probably/definitely with Miirym copy) and Old Gnawbone will be infinite though
@Jet Peterson copy that. I think I was meaning savage ventmaw, but then it's 1 mana short, but again with miirym copies, it's not, so maybe that's what I was actually going for lol. Thanks for the correction though! I totally would've most likely played that wrong!
nice deck tech as always - Imo Ganax is great with Miirym, getting 2 treasures each time you cast a dragon isn't bad at all, I'm sure you considered it though!
I think you get 3 treasure tokens actually. One of the original Ganax ETBing, and 2 more off the Second ganax ETBing. The copy makes one on his ETB and the original triggers as well. It’s freaking awesome.
I like to run Irenicus's Vile Duplication here, meaning i instead get 4x the dragon copies if Miirym is out, and Astral Dragon to yoink someone else's powerhouse (it can copy lands, too). Playing around with too many copies is alright, but you'll be out of mana and boardwiped the next turn because "spooky dragons". I highly recommend mass bounce and protection because of this.
Love this deck. I've been wanting temur dragons since I started playing commander, and miirym is bonkers. I would suggest slotting in animar, the cost reduction along with extra mama from klauth and old gnawbone gets pretty nutty when every dragon you cast nets an extra card or two.
@@vex_mtg there's ready enough synergy for dragons and plus the treasure token meta is absurd. Animar isn't really a must have in the 99. Gnawbone alone can enable a insane boardstate.
Amazing Deck Tech!!!! I am tearing apart my Ur Dragon deck to build this. Are there places I could add fetches & Duals? If I wanted it a little faster, how could I add in Mana Crypt? I'll find spots.... Also, do you have or can you do a Beamtown Bullies? That has been a deck list I've been doing a lot of looking into.
Looks very nice, have you thought of adding some of the powerful clones like Spark Double to make a copy of Miirym. Which l think the original Miirym would make a copy of the Spark Double Miirym making you have three copies of your commander and make you 4 copies of each of your dragons.
This was really helpful honestly in my build I ran gold span and ganax as my main combo and any etb draw card kinda broke the deck, also I haven't gotten it yet but would panhermonicon be a good include ?
Yeah, Goldspan + Ganax is really good in the deck. I believe Panharmonicon is a win more card, sometime you got to stick to the core of Dragons. It's also hard to find room for everything. However, you could always give it a try.
I do like to run a few copy spells in this deck like rite of replication since the tokens are not legendary, spark double, and sakashima of a thousand faces i also like things like helm of the host and flameshadow conjuring
monster manual would have been a good add to this deck also cheap way to put your dragons on the field if your commander is not out or it cost to much to recast your commander bc it got nuked
Miirym is fun to run no matter what, but I have to say that it's best to run with all the "clones" you can get. Run Sakashima and mirror box to get rid of that pesky "legend rule" and I don't think I saw Ganax, it's hard to see but he is better in this deck that ancient copper dragon because this is an etb deck, by the time you swing (if you have to) it should be gg. Terror of the Peaks is your best win con and if you have 6 miiryms out all he has to do is hit the battlefield and you should win.
Having access to just "the best" for a tribal deck ain't as bad as just playing goostuff 5C. Miirym is more of a flicker / etb / value commander and it being on etb of the dragon (not necessiting an ON CAST like Tiamat, for example) make it more of a easy / straightforward built as a "boring 5C" Ur Dragon because in this case you definitely just play the best dragon in the color since it'S so easy to abuse. In my case, I find Miirym 100% more of a generic , most decks are the same kind of deck vs Ur Dragon
been playing Dragon decks for a long time Miirym is diffently more fun, Ur-Dragon is technically better because of 5 colors you get to play all the best cards
There doesn't need to be. 'Y' makes a 'yuh' sound. It can also make an 'ee' sound. As the bridge between the 'R' and the 'M', it makes a kind of 'eeyuh' sound. English is weird, fantasy names are weird, and Miriam is a real name. This could (and I believe IS) absolutely be pronounced as Miriam.

i personally dont like rhythm for this deck i rarely see counter spells normally alot more kill spells or board wipes so not giving the tokens haste is pretty bad id rather take fervor or fires of yavimaya for the same mana cost i also dont like sarkhan's unsealing most of the time ull hit only the single target 4 damage and for more consistency id rather run warstorm surge
They put it in the deck because it gives all attacking dragons double strike. Why wouldn't you want that on flying dragons? Of course it's not going to give quadruple strike. Double strike alone on these dragons is enough. You wouldn't be saying this if a lot of double strike dragons are coming your way. I know that much.
