he's hitting notes here and there like it's nothing, i can't even! Love Today was the very first video i've seen of MIKA, that was in 2007. i've never heard of him before that and i didn't really like him at first, i thought his style was weird and i was confused with what kind of artist he is (that was my first time encountering an artist like him)... but he just kept showing up in front of me- on my television, it's like he was demanding i pay attention to him, so attention i paid. i started googling him and from then on, i've probably seen every single MIKA video and interview there is and my, what a smart and articulate man! needless to say, i fell for him. it's been 8 years, and i don't think i will ever recover from that initial fall.
I actually saw the Motorola ad with O2 advertising the RED which used this sound track, was super impressed. All 3 except the singer of the soundtrack went out of business.
I love hearing this amazing man live. I prefer it more than listening to him in the studio. Mainly because he uses alot of synthesizers on his tracks. But live just drums, guitar, bass, and a sheer bundle of energy erupting all over the stage.
Armando Alvarado I didn’t say u did say he is FREDDIE, and I’ve seen Adam with queen and he’s actually amazing, queen dont want a Freddie replica they want someone unique g and that’s what they got give me a reason why he sucks ...
@@TheDon-ls4ee you’re mad if you think Adam Lambert sounds more like Freddie than mika ? I get what Armando was saying and I agree. He has the same energy on stage and off as Freddie did (besides the partying) it’s the songs he’s made lyrically that are similar. Adam Lambert has done good mimicking him on purpose but mika has done good mimicking him accidentally by being himself. Modern day Freddie. Don’t be offended by that it’s a compliment to both artists. Freddie was such an icon that he’s the artist that smaller artists get compared too ins style..And it’s a compliment to mika because he’s being compared to one the greatest artists
@@Lavecchiasi I wouldn’t say he’s mimicking Freddie coz he’s defo not, he was brought in not to mimic Freddie look at the Interviews my friend and also watch him ? I’ve seen him live the guy seriously doesn’t mimic him
I've never even hear of this guy. The genre is not one I've ever really listened too or sought to listen. I'm more a rock/hard rock fan. Not even sure how I stumbled upon him and this, lol. That said, I have to give props to the amazing vocals, the awesome, awesome drums, the synchronicity of the band, especially playing live and the rockish guitar, instrumental finish.
could be because i was tripping massive super balls the first time i saw this video but in that instance i swear Mika was channeling the voices of a thousand rapturous angels... its a shame musicians like him get overshadowed by talentless "artists" who dont even write their own music and rely entirely on auto tuning and big fat corporate checks to keep them famous
Hermoso, maravilloso, talentoso , excelso !! no hay una sola palabra para describir q tanto me encanta su música , es surrealista, fuera de lo común ! simplemente inspiradora !
No matter he is gay or straight, Mika certainly got gifted voice and unique singing style that not many people can immitate. Many people can immitate Michael Buble, but how many can immitate Mika?
so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet from 0:6 where he starts to smile......so sweet i have no words to describe this did u see his curly hair from 2:05 onwards
:) :) mika eres genial y unico =D tu musica me da aliento para seguir viviendo , dios te iso unico , te agradesco por esas hermosas creaciones .. exitos mi estimado
