Every day, for more than a month Mikaeli hit metal 17 times then got arrested for owning a photograph of a motorcar. Then something changed. #mikaeli #fairenough #series
Hey guys! If you aren't aware, this series spawned out of someone making an Instagram account where they posted the original Mikaeli meme every day. After a while, I decided to get involved and change things up a bit. There will be more Mikaeli content to come (and I'll start putting it on RU-vid), but as the most recent episode felt almost like the end of 'season 1', I thought I'd post a complilation of the eps so far to kick things off on here.
Yeah, you did the right thing by taking over the crowds from those meme pages who clearly just do it to farm followers and view, and create your own spin to the meme since you're the original creator of that comedy clips. However it is still very funny, that your meme account has more follower than your main Instagram account
He seems a bit too okay with the fact hes trapped in a time loop and takes around a whole month to finally get tired of hitting metal every day and only then he wants two picture instead of leaving.
The fact that a random 50 year old looking guy on an old gameshow with big 80s Soviet aesthetic banging a hammer onto a thin piece of metal on an anvil gave me so much adrenaline, hope, dread, happiness, sadness, a whole cinematic experience on Day 66 is sublime.
funfact the show is/was called "wetten dass" its a german tv show where people make bets that they can do things like hitting the metal 17 times in 30 seconds or that they can jump above a car
This entire thing was legitimately one of the most innovative storyline concepts I've seen in a long time. Turning the overdone and lazy follower farming format of "[video] every day" into a legitimately compelling ARG existential horror is brilliant.
@@bonehead7642 oh wait ı thought it meant they were still in the loop and if you investigate you will be kept in the loop but that does make more sense
The part where he wakes up and (who I assume is) Samantha asks him for the passcode for vault 3 before putting him back to sleep was so strangely unnerving.
Imagine if this was a looping twitch stream of the first short playing 24 hours a day but it'd randomly play one of the other vids, then go right back to the original vid. It'd drive people insane & ARG solvers mad
2:00. If you watched the whole series, you'd know that Sasha, the host, sold his life away to veil, that phone call could have been his sick mother (who might have gotten better) telling veil to waske Sasha up. This is just a theory, I have no access to the patreon and I'm in an African country that doesn't use dollars, so I'm working with what I have
I accidentally found the page in instagram reels, thinking it was just one more random page with the same video over and over again. and then I spend the entire night trapped in the page like that Pikachu meme.
This is a masterpiece. The emotional investment I had in this shouldn't be possible from a video spawned off a 10 second bit. I was just looking for a laugh and you gave me an existential thriller on the level of a Meow Wolf production. Excellent work!
It's called cold forging it's because the metal is so thin that the friction and force generates heat and can't cool down fast enough Or something to that accord
I just realized that I know what Mikaeli is doing. He's doing an blacksmith-trick where he hits a piece of metal enough times that it heats up so he can use it to light a fire.
I must say, youre extreamly underated, even though youre close to a milion subs I cant help but think that you deserve more. Your shorts were funny and interesting. And I would say that this... Psychological horror 9 minute film is of the same quality. Good luck on your future projects, whatever they might be.
The moment i saw the altered video on instagram that day, i went nuts. I got all my friends hooked on this journey of Micheal Lee or Mikaeli. Great work.
Adrien i gotta say, this was one of the greatest series ive ever watched and im so proud of being one of the early supporters if i can say that. Im so hyped for season 2 and other things you cook. Cheers Partner!
6:30 "If you have dietary requirements please keep them to yourself. Canteen food is cheap for a reason so please don't complain." It's so fun to jump around frame by frame and find all the little funny bits in parts of the story 8:37 "User: Goodnight Sam :)" eugh that's so creepy and so cool
That thumbnail really looks like one of those essays about a film that's titled like "Mikealie Hits Metal| How to make the perfect twist" or something like that.
This is so good. The decent into disturbing analogue horror caught me really off guard. Had me looking over my shoulder in my house. That go back to sleep bit at 02:53 ......shivers
I know I found your Instagram page while you were around day 30 and I was slightly intoxicated and really had a brain malfunction Keep up the awesome work! (also the regular videos rock still, this just caught me off-guard)
The real lore is: Michael Lee the creator of this dream game show thing abused his employees so an employee called Samantha, or Sam trapped him in his own game. Also the game show host, ‘Sasha’ singed up to test the dream game show, but got trapped in because Sam needed him to contain Micheal in the game. Michaels wife, Jia figured this out and went into the game to tell Michael how to escape, Michael and Jia both have now escaped. Out of rage Michael stuck Samantha in the machine and Samantha is the ogre thing you see. Sasha is still the host. And also; this doesn’t matter, just a joke from the RU-vidr but some of the investigation notes imply that we are meant to be the investigators and the comments are investigations.
