Sigue creciendo disco a disco y van tres. "McIII" contiene rock clásico, psicodelia, distorsión y perfectas armonías vocales. Mikal Cronin acabará convirtiéndose en un verdadero "pop-star". Después de ser bajista de Ty Segall inició su carrera en solitario y ahora con 29 años alcanza sus mejores cotas demostrando su capacidad multiinstrumentista. Excepto los arreglos de cuerda, todo lo demás está grabado por él mismo. El disco está dividido en dos partes, la segunda es algo así como una ópera de rock dividida en seis movimientos y donde destaca especialmente "Ready". Sin lugar a dudas, un músico a descubrir. Música independiente novedades.
