@@RandomVideosFirst Ramos? I can name you some CBs who lasted longer playing at a higher level. Nesta, Maldini, Pepe, Zanetti (I know he's a CB). Ramos has been past his prime for so long now lol
Barca is on the right track... They're promoting Youths with extraordinary talents. Cubarsi Araujo Balde Faye Lamine Fermin Gavi Roque Pedri. Future Looks Bright. #ViscaElBarca
@@LeoMessy-xs6uzhe can lol, u have clearly never watched him, even his ex coach (who trained gvardiol too) said he’s more technically gifted than the latter and good with both feet, he also said he’s very good in tight spaces and in the final third
He is very good, but the problem is that he is mainly a Reactive Centre back and Pau Cubarsi is more proactive. Faye makes more tackles compared to Curbasi. Curbasi is like Van Dijk for he positions himself very well and Faye has got poor positioning and he depends on his athleticism(reactive) to bail him out and ends up tackling a lot. Faye is similar to Josko, Upamecano and Kounde, Araujo though Faye makes a lot of tackles and his passing is below that of Curbasi.
Dude, If i would choose. Faye comes out on top. Reactive or proactive, have you watched a whole match of FAYE? He is confident bringing the ball out from the back, and he also makes those long deep crosses. He is fast, strong, aggressive, and he is good in the air. To cap it off, he also score goals. Dude, making many tackles doesnt mean you make mistakes and try to correct them. As seen in this video, he is a NO NONSENSE kind of player, who stays back, when his partner commits foward, hence the reason for his last ditch tackles and clearances. Cubarsi is good positionally, he doesnt have Faye's pace, but he always ensures to be at the right place at the right time. He isnt really good on the air, and his strength seem to only be when he closes down the opponent. Both compliment each other, but FAYE is an all rounder for me. An excellent potential. Hasnt even played for the first feam, but called up of which he scored a superb goal on his international debut. Cubarsi on the other hand, was invited but only got to play a few minutes in their loss against Columbia. Both are excellent players, and its only a blessing that Barca has such talents in its ranks. Would be a big loss if we loose Faye
@@liibanboojo1673 your opinion bro. Respected but NOT ACCEPTED. Reason you say this, is cause you see a lot of CuCu in the first team, hence your judgement. How many true Barca fans really watch Barca B games? FAYE is a monster. A kind of defender who gives you the needed confidence at the back. He is more like Puyol, while CUBARSI is more like Pique. Not fast, positional and good with the long balls. FAYE on the other hand is outstanding on duels. It's said that Marquez prefers him (FAYE) to CuCu, hence the reason why he was quick to give Xavi the services of the later. FAYE is integral part of the B team, and he has churned out excellent performances. Infact in addition to Fall, he has created on of the best defensive parings in the Segunda B this season. Now look at the differences. Long Balls: CuCu is much better in this area. It's evident the way he launches the ball across the midfield. His positioning helps, in that, once he dispossesses his opponent, he creates a counter attack, with the next move. 1V1: Faye comes top here. FAYE compliments positioning with aggressive duels. The last match between Madrid B and Barca Atletico, one of the Madrid boys, highlighted how difficult it was togo past a beast, who would always run after you, bring you down and clear the ball into the stands. He never lets anyone past him. Same can't be said about CUCU who we have seen always focusing on the opponent. Gruesome and aerial duels: The past 5 matches, Faye has 3headed goals and a long range shot. He is good on the header and as a last man, he is ready to go in for the tackles. CUBARSI on the other hand, isn't good aerially, he seldom goes to head corner cause he knows he is weak from there. I hopes he improves on that aspect. Both are very different players, and we should be thankful we have different portfolios to help the team in the coming future
@@naijamodder8260 "It's said that Marquez prefers him (FAYE) to CuCu, hence the reason why he was quick to give Xavi the services of the later." - lol so you are saying the first team is taking the worst players out of the academy? lmao Xavi takes the best players out of the academy that's how football and any good team works.
The truth is that Faye doesn’t have the positioning as Cubarsi but makes it up with his aggressive nature in winning the ball, if you look at it well you’d see that’s what Barcelona really needs an aggressive defender and a composed one just like pique and puyol. It would make up for a lot of lost balls upfield during counter attacks, honestly speaking the duo of faye and cubarsi is something beautiful then araujo to be with them as well.
A quick reminder that Faye isn't a La Masia product, but this proves that Barca are doing great in the aspect of finding young talent elsewhere since like Faye other non La Masia players we have now are Pedri and Araujo. Great business from Barca
