I walked beside Bartow arena the last year abd there were lights out and blinking every at night a safety concern. For guests. They are near the roof of the arena. UAB facilities now I heard were afraid of heights and lifts. That is in their job description. I think they need not to threaten people or get in a lift according to facilities their employees were threatening a bunch of people. Fraternity and sororities we're threatening me when I hired student they joined those groups after getting hired and tried to use Steve Mitchell to get into fraternities. Students affairs can be affected in those environment s. I hire students athletes too and they couldn't get over 20 hours and I had to keep their eligibility in mind. And their scholarships. Then athletics started threateneing me or some of their associates when I had to let them go. But I always called uab HR on those decisions. They were on my side. That's the paradox of college arena environments and the plight of an operations staff when students involved. College coaches are not immune to that their players are STUDENTS so if international might involve international studies and tufors for classes interpreters. I was aware of those things.
Good thing I will have a chance to get in touch with the lumbee tribe of NC where I was born especially during American heritage month in November. And get in touch with some culture. In my defense the Katrina shelter has come back up for Bartow arena when I worked there abd it was a shelter for Katrina evacuees from Louisiana. They never went back it was a casino tien. The entire dynamic of bit of changed after that. I was on duty and the red cross was not feeding them anything. They were trying to brake into the drink machines. I made one call. When I noticed. I called Steve Mitchell and I said they are not feeding them anything. I said can you call Randy Yarborough over concession he knows people and bibby staub and get some full moon here. There was bbq from full moon bbq in about less than two hours. But that changed Birmingham Al and uab forever when they didn't go back. That's where the sanctuary city designation for Birmingham Al began. So, that didn't work in my favor at the time because of the certain race things going on at the time I couldn't talk about. So that is my point of view. Hubert Davis if unc should not have to apologize for having a white wife to other black people. He is a real black person abd there even black people saying he should apologize. That is what the underlying elephant in the room at UAB. When Mike was at UAB the maintenance people did t want to say in their spots because of the brand of basketball. UAB has never seen basketball like that. The students assistants wanted to watch the Gabe too so I had to constantly make sure they could here their radios. We had to be on guard to take barriers down to rush the court. Also, UAB was different as far as locker rooms fies. The opposing team had the women's locker room in men's basketball. Why the training staff hang pink ballerina outfits in their locker room furca psychological before the game even started. Lol.. ...
Ummm Mike Anderson probably remembers the argument over three volleyball practices after the portable basketball floor was out down over the permanent floor at Bartow arena when the floor laid over the hole in the permanent floor where the volleyball upright went in a bracket fell over the hole every time. Not even an abacus could change it's place. It is as an hour meeting evety year over bell gym volleyball practices. An athletic administrator at uab had the idea of cutting the bracket for three volleyball practices. I was really thinking that "that's going to ruin the entire floor"! I suggested we just take up every time. They said nah. That's not a good idea. Like cutting the bracket is? Is what I wanted say. St that time I knew auxillary services the penny pinchers wouldn't approve the floor going up and down every time. These.things happen at college arenas all over the country not just uab. But abdy Kennedy is coach at UAB he was an assistant before and uab win the conference title already in 2020. And he has a contract extension already. I was back in this city in 2019. Birmingham already had approval for a new ampitheater too. Plus the usfl permanent home a new semi pro basketball team that is a weird coincidence. And new telescopic bleachers. It's funny I remember event setups by memory like the back of my hand including the 5th of July concert every year. The dimensions of the graduation stage. The 15 rows of 15 floor pieces 225 total piece's. I bet the von Braun center is trying to figure how to put the globetrotter floor down there now that people have left there. Lol .......
There is a person named Zachary Peterson who is now an assistant director at the bjcc who I worked with at propst arena in the vbc and jah Evans there who used to work in Birmingham Al and there was a high school tournament in the bjcc where two black high school teams got in a fight there which was terrible timing in 2021. Scottsboro played in Bartow arens in 2020 against Spanish fort and there were no fights. I had to come on their defense when I talked about the real bo nix who playeca junior year at Scottsboro one year in Birmingham Al and dekarlos billingsley Mr football in the state for Scottsboro. I sent a pic of a black person in a Scottsboro hat. They aren't all racists. And I got lumped in with the ones that were. Oregon QB bo nix what's their record now that he left auburn.. drake maye flipped his commitment from Alabama to unc. Which everyone knows crimson tide elephants don't forget. Hence the lumbee as my representations in certain things because of that. They are located in NC. Dekarlos is military family. He had excellent grades. Troy university has roots in those areas.
Question was I exploited by other co workers to get promotions themselves or was I exploited for P oint Of Sale value not piece of you know what value. How were people s Ticket sales when I was around and bonuses when I was around? I also had the Bartow cameras on my coupon my desk. And I know how they try to knock cameras out. I was constantly working with physical security going. .There were none in the wind tunnel btw. I made sure of it.
Other places I worked previously apparently the vbc says they fired me but I sent in a two week notice by email and they didn't even check email to Randstad because that is who I worked for from 2018-2019 that's how I know who people voted for sincec1995 has affected my career abd a person named Bob eslick doesn't point people the same abd only promotes his favorites. There. Other companies in the past thought I was Muslim and I'm not abd used it against me illegally. They thought I was homosexual and I'm nit abd they used it against me since 1995. Also Alabama is an at will ai at UAB I could have fired any student assistant between 2000-2998 abd it was justified.
Ina leonard is now threatening me over her affiliations with the golden 100 UAB athletic booster in the 1980s. Now that they closed my moms estate illegally uab came back up. When UAB said I was rehireable and Bartow arena said I wasn't they are not uab. Good luck at St John's hopefully you won't have obstacles like uab. I haven't had a chance to watch.
My twin daughters have possibly lost the ability to have children because of old males sending around pics of their male parts from James Henry Lee cardwell. Mike Anderson was a great coach at uab just too political there. Too many people being enabled. I didn't enable employees.
