Definitely I used to watch it for Edd and the mechanically side of it and no Mike. Didn't like him on the other show he used to do about second hand cars
It was both of them. Mike also gave some handy sales and buying tips and it was always great to witness Edd's predictable eyeroll when Mike said something typically crass.
Why? Are people not allow to be angry? It’s so funny whenever someone famous shows any sign of anger the NPC predictable masses automatically start posting negative comments if they are some ethical beings 🤣.
Now you have mike getting more airtime trying to help fix cars himself and he’s going to loads of companies with car parts that need restoring just to get more air time. The guys in love with himself.

Forget what? We don't fully know what went on behind the scenes. All we have is a small idea of went on. Practically everyone is giving their verdict on a subject they know the best part of fuk all about. Such is the case with social media.
@@THE-BUNKEN-DRUM Actually we do, they are still great friends, both have said so, they just wanted to do different things, Edd wanted to do his RU-vid channel and Mike wanted to keep doing t.v., there's no animosity there at all, in fact, Edd is Mike's youngest daughters god father. They just went their seperate ways on t.v.
@@TheREALOC1972Actually what I heard is that Edd was taking too much to repair cars at an extremely detailed point that was unprofitable for the program, and Edd didn't want to work and produce faster, not feeling comfortable, and decided to quit WD. By the way, I haven't seen Edd since that, I personally think that the magic of this program takes both of them, and continue watching with Ant. Where can I find all the episodes?

Your right about most of what you said, Edd saw the show as a educational and Mike, The Producers and the Network saw it as a way to make money, that's why Edd left and other shows like Stacy David's Gearz, Fantom Works, Sam's Garage and Lokar Car Show have left Velocity/MotorTrend TV and went to MAV T.V., because Mav TV understands there's a fine line they have to walk because automotive shows have to educational and make money.

I only watch Wheeler Dealers to see the excellent work Edd China does on the cars. I would love to see Edd get his own tv show, showing how to repair and restore cars.
Mike thought "he" was the star of the show. Talking and blabbering nonsense while edd was busy fixing and showing us the way. We watched the show because of Edd china mike was just the annoying bloke 🤣🤣🤣
True colours coming out here... why not just tell people you enjoyed working with a top mechanic Edd China and unfortunately now your under pressure you want to bad mouth the bloke at every opportunity? And I thought you were a sound bloke how wrong I was.
My son walked in an said "who's the oompa loompa. Frankly Ed is the talent as with his replacement Ant. Mike seemed like a cockney chappy, but shows his true colour hear.
Where's Ed? I can't wait till he does something again. The most informative and likable guy in the business. I do so hope someday you can put your ego aside Mike and work with him again. It's really the only way I see for WD to get it's viewers back.
The shows popularity was based on Edd China. Everyone who watched the show I have spoken to agrees. Nobody seems to like Brewer... You just fast forward the bits of the show he was on.
I don't think he was doing jobs on his own.I know there was another guy to help him sometimes but still don't think so.Its tv show and stars have clean hands.
Have you noticed on wheeler dealers all he does is find parts and motors that don't even run and dump it on Edd expecting him to bring them to life and walks off, patting him on the back with a smile. What did he ever do?
I think Edd made the show and gave his reason for leaving the show, he was very complimentary towards Mike For some reason Mike seems to have twisted it so that Edd is the bad guy Okay Mike, now if this new show doesn’t attract the viewers you used to have, who you going to blame then? This series was sold to the US, they saw the viewing figures and knew they could make money from it Mike you are a used car salesman, try being a bit more diplomatic, you could learn a lot by watching Edd’s channel, just saying🤨
After all Edd's hard work restoring a car, Brewer would practically give it a away, especially if the buyer was wearing a skirt. The restoration side had a plethora of useful tips and information. Brewer's end of the show confused people as to the actual value of cars they were interested in buying or selling. That whole mockney style was irritating.
Why not put your ego to one side and say something funny like : I dunno probably fitting a hovercraft engine into a mobility scooter. Get a grip man........he made your TV career!!!

I watched and still watch the show for Mike , the current mechanic " ELVIS " is THE best one the show has had to date . Edd was good but he isn't up to Elvis's standard .
this was about $ - when WD was sold from Discovery to Velocity - MB tried to secure a bigger slice of the pie - production and $ - he did this behind EC back - Velocity then told EC they were going to change the show and cut his slice both production and $ - Ed got pissed off at MB and hassled him (MB claims EC also hassled his family) EC was out and MB and Ant took the show on the road - MB thought he was the brains behind the show and EC thought it was equal and was the reason the show was watched and gained in popularity - you be the judge
What a horrible person this one turned out to be. He complains that people ask about Edd China, but he never fails to bring up his name and rag him. He's been relentless. On the other hand, China has never mentioned him. A gentleman.
