In this video, we're diving into the offense that Mike Denbrock, new playcaller for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, got his start in coaching. We see how he and long-time collaborator Brian Kelly (now the HC of the LSU Tigers) were influenced by coaches like Steve Spurrier and his Florida Gators back in the 90's. We then look at how Brian Kelly developed a spread offense that combined a perimeter-based passing attack and a rushing QB to create one of the best offenses in college football. We'll see how Denbrock developed his offense at Cincinnati, under Luke Fickell and Marcus Freeman, before moving to LSU, where he coached players like Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, building the best offense in the country around them.
