Facts, he just played with a horrible qb a horrible team and horrible front office , he and jjwatt were the only good people before hopkins ....

He was a pro bowler. HE went 13-of-17 for 189 yards and two touchdowns. He threw touchdown passes on the AFC's first two drives of the game, then went to the bench and came back in the fourth quarter to lead the AFC to the go-ahead touchdown.

Most Texans players are underrated anyways

Some other underrated WRs all time imho Herman Moore - 3 straight first team All Pros, 3 straight 100+ reception seasons. They tell you Barry Sanders played with the worst teammates ever but Moore was a great receiver. James Lofton - sort of the 1980s Randy Moss. Tall, lanky with track speed. Averaged a ridiculous 18.3 yards per reception in his career. Retired in 1993 with more receiving yards than anyone. Of course it didn’t last long but still. Jimmy Smith - Only had 288 career receiving yards before turning 27. Had 12,000 yards after that age. Has as many 1K yard seasons as Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald. Playing for the Jaguars didn’t give him the recognition that he deserves.

I guess I'll add to the list. Anquan Boldin was just as physical a receiver as Andre Johnson with good hands and solid routes, never nearly gets the recognition he deserves. And I'll also add Harold Carmichael. Hall of Famer receiver, 6'8" and very respectable speed, and always put up decent numbers year after year as part of that Eagles team had nobody recognizable from the 70's into the early 80's.

@@ThienN2000 It doesn't matter why he sucked, he sucked. how come the team all of sudden got better when Schaub came and we got rid of carr? Carr never wanted to work like he was supposed to. As a starting QB in the NFL you have to put in long hours during the season he didn't want to do that.

Dude would've _averaged_ 10 catches, 140 yards and a touchdown for _every_ game he played for 10 to 12 years *straight* had he played with Brady or Peyton. No cap.

I’d still say it’s different generations. Andre got drafted in 2003 and Mike got drafted in 2014. Andre retired in the middle of the 2016 season, so they were only in the league at the same time for about 2 1/2 years

Generations in Football or most sports has to be a lot shorter than a standard Generation so valid to me. Ten years might be too long for a Generation in many sports. After Ten years few when you started are still playing and the game has changed. Ten plus year players really feel like the next generation talking to the next.

Let's not act like Evans has had the best QBs around him either. Both great guys with less than ideal QBs.
