Written by the great Gospel singer Sonya Isaacs and her husband Jimmy Yeary. The song was written for Sonyas mother Lily. She is still alive after 35 years.

My grandp and best friend died of cancer 😢. I know they’re much happier having a painless, happy life in Heaven.

There were 3 women in the beginning. The elder woman says something along the lines of "I just wanted to live to raise my children". The women with her are her daughters who wrote the song for her. They are part of a gospel/bluegrass group called The Isaacs.

Crap this song got me teared up, and i dont even listen to country....my prayers go to your annonymus subscriber (iam not even religious)...music and the message are special...stay real and healthy!!!
