The Oklahoma State Cowboys are entering a new era of the Big 12 Conference, and there is a TON of parity in the league. One of the top tier teams in this year's Big 12 is expected to be Oklahoma State. Finishing as runner-up in the 2023 Big 12 Title Game, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are poised for a solid year. In the recent news, however, star RB Ollie Gordon was arrested for a DUI, which sparked plenty of questions for both Mike Gundy and Ollie Gordon. Andy breaks it all down here

Even if some people sometimes drive drunk, it doesn’t give the coach of a football program who is in charge of young men a reason to talk like this. He seems like he is enabling this kind of actions to happen and is setting a bad example for himself as a leader. He should be fined for these statements.

I dont think the issue was wanting to punish Gordon as much as the nonchalant way Gundy said "I've done it a thousand times". Gundy is what people have issue with and his mouth.

I’m old. Ive made mistakes. Im no OSU fan. Those who have never driven at a .08 please report. I have a long time ago… so did almost everyone i knew in their 20s. Drunk driving is not right, but stop the hypocrisy. Goodness. The young man stood up, unlike others who lie about not being drunk after a DWI.

I agree with this take. In my college years, many of us did stupid things. Not something that I have done in my older years but many lessons learned. Gundy stated what many of us have felt. Good kid who screwed up. Thank God no one got hurt, and he best not do it again. And for those questioning Gundys decisions, look at what happened to Tyreek Hill at Oklahoma State.

@@twilliger22 I don't care what point he was TRYING to make. He did a bad job at it. Sounded like an asshole and poorly represented the University he works for, which has had problems in the past with other drunk driving coaches. It was stupid to even say that.

Unless you're dirt poor with a criminal history you're not getting "sentenced" for a 1st time DUI offense, it's a diversion program route.
