"If a pinecone war breaks out, you don't have any choice but to engage in it. There's no neutral countries in pinecone wars." -Mike Leach, the G.O.A.T.
I have been in these pinecone wars. A green early summer pinecone propelled by a tennis racket demands reciprocity in all directions. Always keep a tennis racket and a bag of green pinecones handy.
Mike leach was just a space cadet he's fucking out there but I serious doubt it's drugs he's a lawyer so he's extremely intelligent and yall think he's a fool... but a fool doesn't take 3 star football teams and smack division 1 schools in the mouth
RIP Coach Leach. Coached in my hometown early in his career at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt Pleasant Iowa under Hal Mummy, one of the inventors of the Air Raid. You will be missed Coach Mike. 🙏❤️
To the Leach Family, so sorry for your loss. I have heard all 3 of my sons talk about their love for Mike Leach at TT. Very sad to know the world lost such a great person who really knew what mattered.
@mosesheffner If you want to be the punk of the household, sing that paper. If you don't, have the wedding but don't sign the paper. The dudes who are signing the paper might as well "happy wife, happy life" because they will be the punks no matter what they do.
@mosesheffner Don't make it official. Don't sign the marriage license. Once you sign it, you become the punk. Have the wedding, but don't sign the license. If that's not good enough for her, dump her. Clear now?
@mosesheffner The current divorce rate in America is over 50%. It's only going to get worse as long as there are no negative consequences for women. If a dude wants to take the chance on getting divorce raped with those odds, I don't care, but in my opinion, there's absolutely no benefit for a man to sign a marriage license. No benefit what-so-ever.
Who has followed Texas Tech, Washington State, and Mississippi State football for the past 15 years? I did! And it was because of Mike Leach my most favorited college football coach of all time. And I am deeply saddened by his passing. Rest in Peace Mad Genius.
I'm a diehard Bama fan but I came here to check out Mike Leach after hearing about his heart attack today. I wish I had learned about him before now. He seems like a quirky, yet down to earth guy. Hang in there Coach Leach. Bama nation is rooting for you here in Hayden, Alabama. #mississippistate #rolltide
Mike leach changed football more than anyone has since its creation. He's the reason everyone started using 4 wideouts and throwing the ball around like football does now. He even changed the NFL without ever being in the NFL and you've never heard of him until now? Typical Bama fan. Let me guess, you think Jay Barker is still the qb in tuscaloosa.
@habibimaya what did the 'bama.fan say wrong? I thought it was fine. Mike Leach was one.of a kind. He played right along with the stupid shit reporter as ask
@@josephklein8160 he didn't say anything wrong. He's just a typical alabama band wagon fan. If you lived in the south and knew Alabama fans you'd know what I was talking about. As a Miss State fan I know of every coach that has coached in the SEC my entire life. This typical Alabama "diehard" fan has never heard of one of the most popular names in college football but his team has player against this coach for the last 3 years. I can't relate to that at all. Alabama fans annoy the hell out of other fan bases. You can smell their arrogance from miles away.
They definitely didn’t get them all. It likely would take hours. Just about every press conference or interview he’s ever done has a dinger of a quote in it lol He was an amazing person
Was a wizard at Tech too. Now what he's done with Menshew and co. there will be many many dark horse QB's and WR's who will consider the cougars. I'm a Clemson fan but the cougs are secretly my favorite team to watch.
Rest easy Pirate. I know you loved Geronimo. Im not an Apache but I am a 1993 grad of FSU!!! GO NOLES. Thanks for the memories. Your one liners will live on forever.
🎯 I've read the comments in 20 threads of tributes and you're first to acknowledge his mastery of the sports media. They were never able to set him up to spew the normal coach jargon. The best thing Leach ever did was not be Spike. What miserable days those were.
I am sure Coach Leach touched many lives and his spirit will be felt thru the lives of people he motivated. The world needs 10000 More Mike Leachs- He was a true Good Coach and person. RIP and God Bless his family and his players.
"If you get into a fight, don't take your helmet off. We're looking for smart football players, not dumb ones. In the interest of time, don't get into any more fights today." and "Everybody's all surprised every time this stuff happens. It surprises me everybody gets surprised, because it happens every year like this that there are surprises. The most surprising thing would be if there weren't any surprises. So therefore, in the final analysis, none of it's really that surprising."
I always loved to hear Mike having a conversation with someone. He had enough intelligence that he didnt feel the need to show how smart he was. It wouid eventually come out to all that listened to him. I had an emense amount.of respect for him.
I consider myself very lucky. I was in Lubbock for the entirety of Leach's tenure and it was glorious. The Crabtree game is the greatest sporting event in the history of the world. He REVOLUTIONIZED offenses. Look at his coaching tree: OU Riley, TT kingsbury, WVU holgersen TCU OC cumbie and more. All this success brought down by a lying little weasel. Speaking of weasels....there are TWO thumbs-down to this.....Adam and Craig James perhaps?? Also 8:18 he correctly predicts the world
I think some in the TTU administration became jealous of him. I also wonder if his being a Mormon had something to do with it too (re: the guy that has a chapel on campus bearing his name). Made me a lukewarm Tech fan at best.
@@askani79705 I agree with you. Mike Leach was the best thing to happen to Tech athletics since 1923, and that piece of shit Kent Hance didn't like that Kent Hance wasn't the most famous person associated with Tech. It was disgraceful and I, as an alum, hope the program remains cursed until they make it right with Leach, apologizing for how he was treated and paying him the money they owe him, with interest. I also agree with what Coach Leach allegedly told Hance one fateful day in 2009, "Fuck you Kent Hance!"
Man i wish Miami would have hired Leach. Guy loves the keys and he would bring back that nasty old school miami swag. With the athletes down here we would be the greatest show on turf. I live in the keys and i have met leach he is a good guy.
