How did Sam Snead do this "eversion" when he practiced bare-footed? How does the modern golfer do this "eversion" with modern spikeless golf shoes? How does the 2nd best golfer (determined by recent tournament results) at my club play in flat soled sandals? I'm calling B.S. My apologies Mr. Elkington. (I respect your game. I saw you play at the GGO back in early 2000's. I was the guy who yelled "get it back" after you bogeyed the 3rd of 4th hole.") Sam Snead, winner of 82 PGA tournaments, did not do this "eversion" with the right foot. I have seen other "instructors" on RU-vid espouse this advise. If Sam Snead did it wrong, there is no hope for us mere mortals. #whyisgolfsohard?
@@fintanphelan8809 I understand that is one of the keys to your downswing. I'm glad you found the secret. It has no bearing for me in my swing, that feeling makes me stay on my right side too much. Jack rolled the right ankle forward, did not twist the right foot into the ground. Obviously, Snead did not do it. I defer to the best players that ever lived.....
@@AmmoDude hi Ken. This is the key to Moe Norman and Ben Hogans consistency. These two are the most consistent hitters of the ball. George Knudsen also. I’m sure this is the secret to it all. It just feels so natural and the ball just goes with a thwack that I never heard before I started getting the move right. Anyways hope this finds you well. Keep swinging. Fintan.
