During NBC's coverage of the Capitals-Flyers game on April 13, 2008 Mike Milbury calls the Washington Capitals the "Crapitals" during the second intermission.
Chara and Spezza for yashin. Bertuzzi and McCabe for Lindin. Berard (before he got the eye injury) for Felix Potvin. Luongo for Parish and Kvasha. and thats just the tip of the iceberg. he was hands down the most destructive GM in hockey history.
You may be right about playing golf, but as far as watching it goes there's no way you can compare hockey and golf. I've never met a single person in my life who's ever said that they like to watch golf. There are, however, a decent amount of hockey fans in my school. Fyi I don't live in Canada.

oh give me a break...the Caps are lucky they didn't get swept. The caps D-man ran into Huet. How about game 1, when the Caps tied the game after Patrik Thoresson went down and the refs never called play dead? Things have a way of evening out. The capitals got all the calls in the first 4 games so no one should be complaining. The Flyers won because they had better offensive depth (7 20-goal scorers), Biron outplayed Huet, and Kimmo Timonen contained Ovechkin long enough for them to win.
One thing's for sure, they aren't the 'Crapitals' anymore like they used to be; Caps were amazing in the 2nd half this year, too bad they lost to Philly in Round 1. They'll be back strong again next year....
I'll just end this argument on this. I acknowledge that Tiger Woods is a great golfer, though he revealed he was somewhat of a prick by having no respect for another, more popular sport. And until you show me concrete evidence (an espn like poll with hundreds of thousands of votes) that golfing is more popular than hockey, then I refuse to believe that golfing even comes close to hockey in that regard.
I think its funny as sh_t and I've been a hardcore fan for 27 years. Every year they are in the playoffs, they are the CRAPITALS!!! You would have thought that BB could hasve used this comment to fire up the team, but i guess not. We just lost the next game 6 to 3. LETS GO CRAPS LETS GO CRAPS LETS GO CRAPS!!!
Yeah, I heard the announcers loud and clear, and just like they do with Cindy Crosby, they do the same with AO. They just have a love fest with these two players, why the hell were there so many power plays for you guys, and like 3 for us. Even the refs want you guys to win.
Well obviously golf has more people playing it. -It's far more cheap to play -Far easier to learn -Less physical -Not much training or conditioning required -You don't have to be in shape to golf either
Milbury has been an embarrassment as an NHL player, coach, GM and commentator. That's got to be some kind of record, right? Also, the Crapitals just had one of the most epic chokes in recent history. #1 seed blowing a 3 games to 1 lead: also a record.
Omg so many things wrong in one paragraph its making me sick. Golf has a bigger following than hockey? Gimme a freaking break. That's a flat out lie. If I go to wiki and type basketball or hockey or football a there is an article called the big four listing the most popular sports in the U.S. Golf isn't on there like you claim it to be. That and Espn has taken polls on people's favorite sports before with golf not finishing in the top four.

Wow - I've always thought that McGuire is even worse. Maybe I'm just tired of his extreme Crosby man-crush. Or maybe it's the fact that he has an anti-face. No chin, no hariline. When he's standing in front of a white background all you can see are a pair of eyes and lips.
