I don't get why some people are saying he's too busy. If you check out most of the post bop era recordings, you'll see drummers usually didn't just take the back seat.

Awesome drumming. I just think he could be faster on some of the music. Seems like he was going at a snail's pace. I felt like I was watching molasses drip or watching water boil and metaphors like that.
