Haha. This may have been the first RU-vid video I ever uploaded. I didn't think I had to listen all the way through to make sure it was cool. I noticed it weeks after I uploaded it and just left it. It only catches those who get to the end these days! Thanks for listening, till the end!
This is a great example of why body language is very important as a musician. Ted Poor is going absolutely ham, and you can see it in his body. His motion and energy draw the listener into the music with him. His playing is infectious because it is a body-wide phenomenon. That is something that should not be underestimated in live performance.
The last minute of this video is incredible! Was listening in headphones and thinking dang this Ted Poor gentleman is super creative haha. He truly is obviously but the way it freezes and repeats got me going.
STOP MIKE ! he is too perfect, rooted in bebop complex clean dynamic creative in ballads and fast tunes knows mainstream and ballads. Weaker points blues emotion space and group playing He is going to get out of a job a whole generation. A Master
Great performance. Too bad the video froze up in that 'reverse color' mode and the audio went into that never-ending neurotic drum fill loop...but at the same time, a bit of unintentional humor is never a bad thing.
