Coach Norvell, I have great respect for you and what you’ve done. However… Week after week you talk about the team’s preparation and how it is not showing up on game day. You talk about the penalties and the mistake…and how everything is under review. If you are making changes they are not showing up on Saturdays. Perhaps it is time to make personnel changes and let the high paid players watch from the sidelines. Their NFL careers are on the line. Maybe that will be the motivation for them to earn their NIL money. Give the underclassmen a chance - PLEASE!!!! 4 butt whoopins and 1 squeaker is the worst season that I can remember. I’d rather lose with our future players - those who chose to be a Nole - rather than with transfer players who came here for the money. Please coach. I like Mike Norvell. I think he’s a great coach. The issue was last year. We bitched about not being let into the playoff. Then we sued the ACC because we thought we were bigger than the conference. This is where I think the chef started and turned the rest of college football against us. We didn’t live up to the hype immediately plus there’s all these other distractions with leaving the ACC is going to FSU with all these other distractions.

Stop goin for it on 4th down. TAKE THE POINTS ! ! ! This team is not good enough to get a 4th down conversion. The good thing from this games is. They ran north and south pass routes.

Ungrateful fans wanting to fire someone who just went undefeated last year. That’s why programs can’t build a dynasty cause they listen to these dumb fans who thinks firing the coach is the answer. Coach first momentum was lost when we couldn’t score on the goal line before halftime. Second momentum change DJU pass to Morlock tip interception coming out the half. Third momentum change is the face mask penalty on 4th down when we had SMU stopped. All three were critical moments in this game. Coach if you have to dummy down the playbook to get Brock Luke or Trevor some in game experience let’s do it!

Coach norvell is a top tier coach but he has to change a lot that's around him 3 star offensive lineman and defensive lineman won't win in Big Time college football maybe at Memphis. Get you some coaches that will get you some kids studs ....we have the coach

People hated Jimbo but even on his way out that FSU team made a bowl game and beat that team soundly, year prior beat Michigan, after a Natty still went undefeated up until the Oregon game and had multiple winning seasons and retained recruits stop acting like Mike is the guy he relied solely on the transfer portal because he’s a horrible recruiter, Willie was a clown but he never went 0-3 in reality should be 0-5.. DJU is god awful but in all reality the whole entire team is garbage, UF had a horrible season and still out recruited an undefeated FSU they couldn’t land a top 10 class, they don’t want to play for Norvell on top of that got a 5 star QB casually sitting the bench the whole program is a joke

The first half wasn’t bad. Then the land slide came. The secondary stinks. Poor coverage. Opposing receivers wide open. We know the Issue with DJ. We can’t do much about that because of NIL. I’m thinking this team is starting to quit on game day. Recruiting has been down the last two years and you can see it. The type of players we used to get are going to Georgia, Clemson, Bama, LSU, UCF and now Miami. People can blame the coaches all they want. But these players still need to execute what they practice 4-5 days a week during the game. We went 12 -0 in the regular season last year with a senior team. Now we are 1-4. The only thing that has changed is who is on the field. We have a few players that are pretty good but not enough to make a big impact. This season is a wash. Maybe we should stay in the ACC. We could be there of a long time.

Forget about the portal! You have to play the players you recruited and develop them! DJ U never should have been brought to FSU! Coach, tackling has bee n terrible all year, go back to fundamental football and coach the players you recruited. If the players can’t do their job, bench them and start the 2nd string players! Coaching and the players are to blame and college students given a full ride should not get paid to play!

More B.S. If you worry about players confidence level then your head is in the wrong place. You have 60-70 players. There’s 22 that want to compete, want to make a difference and want to work hard. Find those 22. You won’t find them if you play the same group of young men that have not played well. Bench players, allow others to step up. Basic football coaching.

I think Norvell is going to learn his lesson about trying to patch everything up in the portal. Fire most of your staff, get some elite recruiters in and start developing high school talent.

Coach Fool. Nobody fears DJ running a zone read so why do it? Spend the rest of the season learning and teaching fundamental football. Gap integrity, blocking, tackling, angles, catching, position responsibilities... Every time you miss a 4th down attempt it's a turnover on you putting your fundamentally unsound defense in another bad situation. Stop doing it!

Why is everyone surprised? Won 3 games in his inaugural season; yall blamed Taggart. Opened 2021 0-4 including a memorable loss to Jville state and yall made excuses and still griped about...Taggart. Now he has lost 5 of last 6 games. There is an ongoing pattern of Norvell unable to make adjustments nor develop players. Take away transfer portal and 5th year head coach Mike panics. But blame Slick Willie and fire him 1.5 years in.

Here’s a thought… what if Norvell never wanted DJ and someone (“the NIL collective” aka boosters) pressured him to offer DJ and is pressuring him to keep DJ in.
