@@petrosbabinn1695 FACTS even if u have terrific head movement he just keeps coming at u but I gotta admit I was screaming at him thru the screen don't be scared after the KD from that left and he did get a Lil more cautious(scared) but all it was was a L from that exchange he got caught going for the gusto..... it happens but he should've stayed beast which he did... he got a second wind and continued to put pressure in the final round
I don't think he gets enough credit though, but agreed he needs gym time. Although maybe that's things he should've sorted before now but how can anyone not the guy 😆 😂 He doesn't give a shit 😀 takes shots better than alot of others you see fighting. Hope you're all having a great year but if not I wish you 2023 changes for the best ! Whoever an wherever you are. Like Perry just don't quit, we can chill out when we're dead 😀
100%. The last round you better watch out because he really comes to take your head off😂 Man must stay in really good shape to be able to up into another gear in the final rounds like that.
Yeah every six or 7 haymakers perry would get popped with a counter half as powerful and then seals would hug him for ten seconds. Perry easily won the knockdown round as well. The judge that scored the fight for seals should be fired immediately
Honestly his hands suck, a c level boxer will wreck perry he dosent understand the distance for boxing yet he's throwing punches that'll land in mma but not in boxing and he's way too wide
@@brudderstyles3479 whether he has skill or not mike perry was definitely meant to "throw hands". I'm not even talking about boxing vs mma, he was just meant to throw hands in life.
Seals was trying to act cool by keeping his hands behind him so Mike Perry used his MMA skills to bring his hands to the front. Seals looked completely violated when Perry did that
Mike is an animal he’s gonna bang he’s not scared of anyone mvp broke his jaw and he was still giving out work and pressing forward you gotta respect that
this is what all the paul vs mma fighter rulesets should be more like. No clinch puts MMA guys at a major disadvantage, theyre not used to uncontested infighting and having the clinch broken up. Not to mention many holds and strikes that mma fighters are used to are illegal.
This whole event was such a joke. Mir got his clock cleaned because Pulev is a solid boxer. Nearly everyone else on the boxing side was crap. Either completely inexperienced or way past their prime.
good aggression and confidence by perry, but seal's couple of out of nowhere shots could've kept you something of guessing too. i would've guessed perry by unanimous decision, but good fight to watch here....
Lol come on now we all know what's in store for Mike. He's already showing signs of punk drunkenness' with the slurry speech dating back to UFC. Highly doubt he retires with all his faculties, probly gonna end up like most of the old school vet brawler boxers
How convenient for the boxers that no take downs are allowed or submissions they should allow it all to see who really dominates fighting even if they alternate rules each round to make it fair
That's why it's boxing and not mma. If you really wanna see who's tougher there should be no rules. A street fight. No gloves. No rounds. Stop moving the goal post. If your gonna box then box
Anybody can say it was a bad split decision but the way seals fought is not really what triad wants. You supposed to go toe to toe all in like perry. He got knockdown but still initiates attack. That fancy fight like a butterfly sting like a bee can only be applied of you knockout your opponent otherwise your opportunistic tactic won’t work if you will not show aggressiveness. His failure to initiate contact and attack and relies on counter punch and lucky punch made him lose. That is only a good tactic in here if you knockout your opponent.
Idk Mike perry did look good in there but he wasn’t throwing much effective punches and if I had to give it to someone it would be team boxing but I understand why perry won the sheer volume of punches but that shouldn’t be the only thing a fight is judged on
I think this is better than BK because in BK most of the time the action is cut short due to injuries to the hand. The gloves here are a little bit too big. They need to be a lot thinner for maximum Damage to get as close to BK as Possible. The most important thing is to have the hands wrapped to prevent fractures and the gloves serve as an extra layer of protection to minimize the damage done by teeth and Elbows to your hands. This would allow the fighters to punch with a lot more confidence. in a BK fight a hand injury is a show stopper and sometimes a guy can win not because he is the better boxer but because the Knuckle of his opponent lands in the wrong spot and it breaks or you get cut by a tooth or your hand is just too damage to continue punching. This would eliminate that and in addition to give the brawlers more Confidence having gloves on also has a psychological positive impact on the wearer. This will not turn the fight into an MMA or Boxing contest since the gloves would be thin enough to serve as extra skin. The impact of every blow would be the same, but the hands will not get damaged and this will guarantee a long battle and would minimize the risk of cuts that can end a fight too quickly.
Boxers don't want to do MMA, MMA fighters want to do boxing. MMA guys beat boxers 10/10 in MMA, not entertaining. MMA guys can sometimes beat boxers in boxing, more entertaining. Simple
@@ravioliikingNo, MMA fighters can not beat boxers in boxing. They can beat boxers in these type of boxing/MMA hybrid fights. But if this happen in a ring with gloves, Mike would have got his head boxed off.
@@daviddavidson1412 Right, so there's been no MMA fighters who've moved over to boxing and won, right? Don't be a clown David. MMA fighters have a better chance in a boxing ring against boxers than vice versa, that was my point. Mike's 2nd fight outside of MMA and he went toe-to-toe with a 27-3 pro boxer. Yeah it was triangle ring and 4oz gloves but that's still impressive and you're just being a mug if you think otherwise. Absolute fucking paragraph for yee
@@ravioliiking Yes, they've won against scrubs. Just like a Boxer could move to MMA and win against scrubs. Clarissa shields is a boxer that beat multiple MMA fighters in MMA. It goes both ways, obviously at a low level either side could win. But that's nothing to brag about, beating scrubs. Take the best P4P MMA fighter vs the best P4P boxer and put them in a ring. The boxer would embarrass the MMA fighter the same way the MMA fighter would embarrass the boxer in an octagon. At the highest level neither is succeeding in the others sport.
@@ravioliiking That's why MMA legends get beat up by slightly above average boxers like Jake Paul. Theres a reason he called out so many UFC fighters and not boxers lol.
Mike Perry is just a bad ass lil dude. MMA, MMA v Boxing. Bare knuckle fighting. He's always game and he's never timid, always confident. I fought a guy like him during my amateur days. And while I was always nervous before getting in the ring, I'm man enough to say to say I was legit scared until the end of the fight. Anytime I caught him, he recovered so friggin fast and tbh I'd be so shocked when I caught him that I didn't follow up. My trainer and grandfather told me to just touch him, which was scary enough. Then they ask me to hit combos, my mind was divided between trying to do what they said and thinking "how tf can you ask me to do that, this lil strong and fast nigga is closing my right eye?! What fukkn fight are you watching?!" Lmao. I got him a lil more in the latter part of the fight but he was ROYALY robbed. Ain't no way in hell that fight was a draw, he was one of my 4 hardest fights ever. I had already shook his hand and congratulated him for his victory and then they announced our fight as a draw. My older brother still laughs at how shocked we both looked, lmao. Unfortunately, the guy made some bad decisions and the next time I asked about him he was in prison for robbery. That ish broke my heart fr fr. Bcz as a fighter, I think he had what it took to go all the way. With me being disabled now and him being in prison neither of us made it. But watching Mike reminds me of dude, heart of a lion and the courage of one too. Always game through the whole fight and not easy to beat.
Great story champ thank you for sharing I send my blessings to both of you guys. And mike perry is a warrior at heart.love watching his fight always root for him even if he loses. It's just his passion.
Imagine having a boxing competition with mma fighters vs boxers , and the mma guys winning , they should do a boxing vs mma in the cage and see how that goes
